   We moved from Dunedin to Rangiora recently. The team at Prices made the whole process from first enquiry through to removing the empty boxes a hassle-free experience. This is the third time we have contracted Prices to move house for us and we definitely recommend them without reservation. We moved on the hottest days of summer yet the team never faltered, getting everything from wine glasses to piano safely delivered. Thank you!

   Prices did a wonderful job of moving my mother into a retirement village. Nothing was a problem for them. They took a lot of her things to the Salvation Army for free and their prices are very reasonable. The head office and moving staff were great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

   When loading my furniture onto the truck in Dunedin the men were dragging Antique peices across concrete and the floor of the truck.I had to stop them, to tell them to please LIFT. There was NO communication from anyone about delivery time, the day before my expected delivery, in Christchurch. On arrival in Christchurch my furniture was damaged.It had not been strapped down properly in dunedin. They sent a man Les to my house to take photos of the damaged furniture.He tried to deflect and blame the Christchurch driver ,who unpacked it ( they were polite and hardworking and didn't have any part to do with the damage) I thought he was going to help me get a solution, in the form of some compensation, like he said he would. I spoke with and emailed photo proof of my damaged furniture to Allan in Dunedin.He was argumentative and tried to imply the furniture was damaged before it was dragged into the truck by HIS workers in Dunedin.He ignored it was not strapped down properly, which also damaged more of my furniture in transit. That was 20 months ago, no communication since. I moved again recently and the companies couldn't be more different. The Movers were careful ,packed the truck properly, and "normal" at handling furniture. NOT dragging it. It has cost me over a thousand dollars to repair the damage Prices Moving Company did to my furniture. They deflected responsibility and were unpleasant to deal with when things needed resolving. They were quite happy to take my gifts at the start of the sign up, that I gave them as a goodwill gesture though. A greedy and totally unprofessional attitude for a company to express. I can not recommend to use Prices moving company in good conscience. Thank goodness there are other moving companies who are, respectful of the client and of other people's property.

   Would definitely use Prices again. The movers were great, made removal of furniture look easy, took everything and very efficiently packed truck so only one trip needed and happy to put the furniture in the right rooms at the new place. Nothing was a bother for these guys! Cheaper than quoted as they were super efficient!

   They were nice guys but some fairly new to the job and inexperienced. Too rough with furniture. They put a dent in my fridge and everyone I've talked to have had similar experiences

   I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Prices Packers and Movers. They were the most expensive movers, but they were the only moving company which could pick up my items when I needed. So I went with them. The communication was terrible I had to keep asking them what time they would arrive and when I would get my items. I moved from Dunedin to Auckland and it took over 2 weeks to get my items. When I did receive my boxes they were damaged. I didn't argue with the guy delivering them as I knew it would be pointless as I signed the document saying it was to be moved via owners risk. But the boxes where obviously water damaged and had been thrown around, some were caved in. My items have been damaged costing me a lot of money. Luckily I have contents insurance but it doesn't help with sentimental items. In short DON'T use this company! They weren't good to deal with, they are expensive and will damage your items.

   Would love to give a 0 but cant, so heres a generous 1 star review. Asked them to take a room full of stuff as well as couches and they did not do either. Everything in the room was not taken. The couches were taken but the pillows which were on the couch were left behind. When working with a client was expecting them to ask is that everything? But no they just left without saying anything and therefore have completed a 3/4 job, yet charging 2.5 hours which is odd for a job where the houses were less than 1km away.
