I had Southern Furniture Movers pick up and deliver a sofa for me from Karitane to Ophir and everything went very smoothly,communication was excellent, I am very happy with the service,and certainly recommend to them to others who need Furniture moved.
This is a great company to go with! I had a few things to move from Wellington to Dunedin and they collected it all and dropped it off within the expected timeframe. Fast, reliable, friendly, affordable and great communication. Will definitely be recommending this company!
I do not recommend it. I hired the company to deliver some things and they did not, but that's ok, because I understand that sometimes there are problems, and we have already talked about it. However, I asked for a refund and waited a few days. Then, I emailed asking when they would send me the refund, but there was no answer! Let's see if they read it here and answer me soon.
Just had two of Southern Furniture Movers guys deliver a lounge suite from Harvey Normans. (08/01/24)The guys rang before they arrived to make sure all was okay with the delivery. Then text when closer. Two very helpful, polite and courteous guys who are a credit to the company they represent. Would highly recommend this team. Wayne & Linda M

I (based in Wellington) ordered a headboard from a company in Auckland who uses Southern furniture movers for all their deliveries. Order was collected and I was told it would arrive in approx 1 week. It’s now been 5 weeks…… I have spoken with the furniture company multiple times asking for the whereabouts of my item, to be told it’s heading to Dunedin, then told we need to “locate” it at the Wellington depot, to then being promised it would be delivered at very latest Wednesday-Friday of week 4. Still not here. Then promised Monday and to my surprise - still not delivered. I have dealt with multiple different people over the phone, some who were fine and others with terrible customer service. Not impressed in the slightest and a very unhappy customer.
Hadn't been here before Sautday and only picked up an item the team were distributing for Harvey Norman BUT what a helpful, polite good guy helped us. Genuinely seemed happy to be at work, so pleasing to see. Great service, thank you
Purchased a100 Year old Grandfather clock from Dunedin needed it transported safely to Hamilton (other end of country). The Team at Southern Movers were awesome to deal with, from initial contact through to delivery , we were kept informed throughout the whole process. Massive thanks to the whole team for the care they took. Professional and friendly.
Highly recommend. I have used Southern Furniture Movers on more than one occasion and each time they have been friendly, helpful and offered a great service. Excellent and quick communication and all the staff I have dealt with have been lovely from the guys on the truck through to the owners in the office.
