    I recently viewed a boarding house with this company, and unfortunately the property did not meet basic living standards. The house smelt musty, the showers were covered in mould, and the bathroom fans were clogged with dust. The heating was also inadequate. After seeing the condition of the property and reading the other negative reviews, I can safely say that I dodged a bullet.

    Keep away from this property management team, it took almost a month for me to get my bond back after I had left. After countless emails with the tenancy services and this team I finally got my bond back. Happy Nest hadn’t lodged my bond up until a few days ago. I left this place on the 22nd of August.

    For Happy Nest, customers are but fair game. They will not stop at anything to make an extra buck from you. When we took them to tribunal, they claimed they do not know the rules. You should know your ight and be prepared for dirty play from them but it is better to deal with someone more civilized and ethical.

    Having Happy Nest as our landlords for 2022 was a frustrating experience filled with inadequacy, a lack of communication and worse, a lack of action by them to solve many problems that arose throughout the tenancy. Firstly, a healthy homes report was never given to us after asking the landlord for it four times. It was clear this was due to the house not being up to code (gaps in outside doors letting a constant draft in, large nails sticking out of wood, black mould) and the landlord knowing this. Our problems began as soon as we moved in with mould all over the ceilings in all bedrooms and the lounge as well as our windows not opening (not up to code) and the flat not being cleaned (dust and dirt on almost all surfaces). For example, it took around 2 months for the windows to be fixed after move in date which is health and safety hazard. This is in conjunction with the laundry area “roof” being a tarp after a flood that occurred half way during the year and the landlord telling us multiple times, it would be fixed yet it never was. This was the reality of Happy Nest being the landlords where they say they will fix things but nothing is ever solved. We would wait weeks for a reply for the problems we had and then they would apologise and say we will get onto it but then it was radio silence again. For any potential renters looking at Happy Nest as landlords, for your own sanity and health, do not use this company.

    Kinda suss that they restarted their Google identity since their old one was so badly reviewed. Either way, they’re absolutely awful proper managers. Your needs are not important, especially when it comes to having basic ‘house functionality’ They’ll be there to collect your money prior to moving in, have a great communication and come across generally well for the first week. After that, expect to be ignored, not deemed worthy enough for property services, deal with complete incompetence etc etc. Overall, just avoid them.

    Extremely poor customer service. After sending multiple email enquires, submitting applications, attempting to call the contact phone numbers provided, leaving voicemails and text messages, I heard absolutely nothing back. Would not recommend dealing with these people.

    VERY LOW IQ owner, needed hot water did not fix for 2 days. Overall extremely negligent landlord, while charging equivalent of two gold bricks a week. Work with this company at own peril.
