   Great location on top of the ocean on Marine Parade. We are staying in ♿ access unit 4. It's spacious and very clean, however it's very tired. Maintenance is a bit of an oversight like a tear in the wallpaper 3 cracks in the molding, dirty inset ceiling lights a fridge that had to get replaced from Fiona who is the housekeeping supervisor who is absolutely outstanding and very polite and apologetic. Can get a bit noisy with the people walking/running on the metal stairs. Overall it's a 5.5 out of 10. Would we stay here from out of town again? No not until the owners actually pull their wallet out. For $300/night I expected much more

   Great location, great room with a balcony and Seaview. The only reason it lost stars is because the bed was horrible and needs to be replaced. The rooms need to be updated.

   My first stay at the Shoreline Motel over Labour Weekend was a complete success. The staff were exceptionally friendly and secured us a room with a lovely sea view. Despite being on the busy Marine Parade, the traffic noise was surprisingly not an issue. The room was clean and well supplied, including plenty of tea and coffee with a plunger. While we didn't use the stove top elements, the large spa bath was a major highlight, perfectly positioned to watch TV from the hot water. The internet reception was good, the location is brilliantly within easy walking distance of the city centre, and the seashore is just across the road. Parking was never a problem, even with several trips in and out each day. An all around excellent stay that I highly recommend.

   Shoreline Motel in Napier offers clean, spacious rooms with stunning ocean views and a prime beachfront location. It's a top pick for comfort. Location & Views - Directly across from Napier Beach on Marine Parade. - Panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Cape Kidnappers from ocean-facing rooms. - Just minutes’ walk to Napier town center, cafes, and the National Aquarium.

   I stayed in a ground level unit. The room was dingy and outdated with marks on the walls. Table felt sticky and the room had an unpleasant smell to it. There was a spa bath, that in my opinion was not easy to get into, you have to step up and almost crawl along to get to it! However this and the bathroom were the cleanest in the unit and the bed was pretty comfy.

   Excellent quality accommodation. Hugh spacious facility, we loved the spa pool and the king size bed. Lovely sheets and bedding. Large lounge and cooking facilities. Happily stay again. Reception staff friendly and efficient.

   Requested an early check in of 1-2pm. Was told it may not be feasible due to low staff. Completely understood so we moved our timetable around to arrive later. Arrived at 3.40pm and the room wasn't ready until 4pm, that's 6 hours after checkout. When coming into the room it was a horrible cleaning chemical smell, we noted our infant was staying on the booking too. There's also not curtains on every window in the 2nd floor units. Not a great experience and won't be staying again.

   The buildings and rooms are a bit dated, but clean and the staff are friendly and eager to help. Location is great, walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. When i stayed the motel was short staffed so they were not offering daily room cleanings/launderings, but fresh towels were available every day.

   My mother and I stayed here o/night in a 2 x bedroom unit. The unit was on the ground floor & was very quiet & comfortable. I thought it was a bit rough paying just over $200 for a room where the net curtains were ripped & the bathroom while semi - functional, left a lot to be desired. The shower over the bath flooded the floor, as the shower head couldn't be adjusted enough & my mother found climbing over the bath to have a shower, too awkward. Beds were comfortable & road noise, not an issue.
