Helpful, friendly service and quite the selection for a little dairy. Nice planning, team Brighton! I love their kΕ«mara chips and fish & chips. Haven't tried the real fruit ice cream yet but will do. They have a great selection of ice creams for a sunny beach outing. :)
Got 2 scoops and they were very very small ....do not buy cone icecreams there at 4.90 you would expect more ...this picture is NOT the 2 scoop amount and it definitely did not look like this either .....stick to the icecream freezers
Came here after a nice mid afternoon swim at ocean view for a snack and beverage, the older lady working was unbelievably rude and acted as if serving us was an inconvenience. Regrettably wasted nearly $50 on a crusty sausage roll that was barely edible, some overpriced energy drinks and ice creams and some soggy chips that obviously hadnβt been cooked for long enough. I cannot exaggerate how disgustingly rude the service and general atmosphere of this place is. This is coming from somebody that is used to the usual snobbiness in bigger cities like auckland and melbourne etc. Would it be that difficult to at least pretend to be nice?
Always has the essentials and they always had flour during lockdown when everywhere else in town was out Just need to stock that salt ice this summer Azizah and youβll have every boat crew south of Dunedin stopping in their way through!
The most disgusting, arrogant service I have received of late. Told to go to the end of the line though was there before anyone else, apart from the family being served. After the staff member asked to view a non mask wearer I was with for proof of his exemption, he walked away and did not serve. Once he asked what we were wanting, we were told to go to the back of the line like 'everyone else' where another 10 people had arrived after us waiting for ice creams. Walked out and he arrogantly shouted out, thanks for coming in and hope you have a nice day. Instead of supporting our local dairy, will be driving into green island/mosgiel than shop there again. Plus, we must look old as he felt that he need to use his outdoor voice to make his point in front of everyone.

Another unpleasant visit to this store. A staff member quite obnoxious to someone who has a mask exemption. Makes it difficult to support local.
Disgusting. Bought a pie here. Realised that it had been off for almost 3 weeks! Absolutely unacceptable and vile. Didn't receive an apology either. Stay away unless you wanna get yourself some food poisoning
Nice "gold rush" ice-cream was had today, hit the spot. However IMHO $3 for a single scoop ice-cream is too much.
