My partner and I have been dealing with Kyle recently in purchasing a new couch. We have appreciated his honesty in helping us choose the right product, he is super knowledgeable having worked in other department stores and sharing these insights with us really sealed the deal. We typically prefer to browse shops ourselves as we find sales people fake just trying to push any sale they can, Kyle was approachable, friendly and instantly took the time to understand our needs and advise us on the best option for us. My elderly dad bought a bed from this store and on the day it was supposed to be delivered to his new flat they 'lost it' and it may be 2-3 weeks before this elderly man can HAVE A BED he paid for. What's more this happened to me in Wellington when I purchased a bed from Big Save - they lost it too and it took FOUR WEEKS to receive it. I thought surely this couldn't happen a second time. I am shocked and appalled at this awful service. Can't even phone the store to talk to a human because it's an 0800 number with an answering machine. Will be writing a complaint to the Commerce Commission.
Great experience with Aby, Very professional and helpful. Their service is great and delivery was as scheduled. Furnitures came in excellent condition.
The sales staff in this fabulous store are the best I have ever purchased from. A great selection of lounge suites, mattresses and furniture to suit any decor and very affordable. Highly recommend the lovely young ladies advice, her design experience is very helpful and so friendly and caring to work with. Love this store.

Didn't have what was wanted but did get back to us after they sourced the product, ended up buying what was needed as were cheaper than any other supplier

Ordered a couch in January 2022, it is now June 2022…. I am still waiting on the couch, would not recommend ordering from big save at all, 6 months to still be waiting for the couch is beyond a joke. The staff are fantastic though, have been doing the best they can. However the problem seems to be coming from upper management as they do not seem to have their act together with starting new systems with out proper due diligence because in April I got a text to say I would be getting my couch, called the store to arrange the time, the lovely staff told me it’s still in the north island??? Overall I would highly recommend the staff but this is a terrible company, will not be ordering from big save again.
One of the best experiences I've had while furniture shopping. Staff were incredibly helpful, and very apologetic when their systems weren't working as intended, immediately working on a solution. Many of the issues here are corporate problems, and the in store team is a blessing for how they deal with them.
