   I ordered a sandwich and a bowl of fries today. They gave me a buzzer and said it would buzz twice. First time to get sandwich from the counter and the other to retrieve from fries from a tucked away kitchen away from the cafe. They gave me the sandwich I sat down, my fries were ready, but alone I couldn't carry my 2 bags, sandwich and retrieve the fries. I said to the staff their system was floored and anyone traveling alone, rhe food should be brought to them from the kitchen. The staff just said oh that's just our policy. I said we'll that is a crap policy and needs to be changed!!! In an airport, we can't leave our luggage un-attended. I think it's pretty clear you need to revise this policy.

   I never write Google reviews and my phone is on 40% before my flight but the carbonara was so bloody terrible I'm gracing Airspresso with a critique. Received it lukewarm and got assaulted by so much salt I thought the chef added his "special sauce". Paid $20 for a povo portion which upset me initially, but Airspresso's generosity saved me from more of this abominable green paste (why is it green). Not to mention the price range for the cabinet food, which is robbery in broad daylight- a pie that costs $12.50 better be lathered in 24 carat gold leaf with A5 wagyu filling. Airspresso being the only option for food is a human rights violation; do better, Dunedin Airport.

   Ordered the smoked salmon quiche at what was obviously a very busy time (delayed flight) with a fairly long queue. The staff were clearly at the limit of how fast they can work, but despite this they were extremely professional, courteous and prompt with keeping the orders going. I was advised there would be a five minute wait, which was exactly the time that passed before I was served with my piping hot order, which was absolutely delicious and definitely hit the right spot!! Couldn't possibly ask for more. I note quite a few people have commented that it's not obvious where one orders from (!!!) - clue: it's probably on the side the till, the cabinet and the juice stand are! I guess you can't help everyone...

   Possibly the worst toastie I have ever eaten. Ordered a toasted ham & cheese from the cabinet and was given something rock hard with hardly any filling and tasteless.Couldn’t believe that I paid $13.80 for this. Yes, first world problem, but come on, surely this is not too difficult to get right?

   The ham and cheese ficelle at $12 were as dry as cardboard. Disappointing! Wish I had visited the other Cafe.

   Thrilled to get such lovely experience at an airport Cafe. Everyone in the team smiling and switched on ready to serve. Beautiful crunchy south island sushi aka cheese rolls and perfectly made coffees and a nice brownie to go. Well stocked cabinet with decent baking and yummy salads. Well done team, you did a great job.

   Airspresso quite possibly has the best bacon and cheese scones in the South Island. Using smokey Havoc bacon bits and decent portion sizes, for around $5, they'll definitely fill a true South Islander up. Goldened perfectly so the shell/crust is crunchy and delicious. A true masterpiece that should be renowned. Sorry about the photo, I couldn't resist eating it and then realized it was the best. Trust me. I'll be getting one every time I visit!
