Wow, now this place is a wee gem in downtown Dunedin! Nice ambient lighting, friendly staff and of course an impeccable drinks menu, The reboot and refresh was the best drink we had, I highly recommend trying it, one of the best drinks I've had and the best cocktail.
Second visit to Indigo Room, and I'll definitely return. A really cozy place with lots of quirky details, and friendly, attentive service. As for the food - wow! We had the fabulous set menu on this occasion - 4 beautiful courses, amazing flavours, and lots of variety. Absolutely delicious. Washed down with one of their wonderful non-alcoholic cocktails. Yum! Well worth the price. Can't wait for my next visit.
Amazing themed cocktails with an incredible menu that reads as a renowed classic novel with each cocktail based on a location worldwide. The bartenders and owner are also fantastic, and always so friendly! I went twice, almost months apart, and they still recognized my friends and I. A Dunedin must-see for a pre, post, or main event!
There were 8 of us for dinner. We had booked and were the first table seated. The service was poor, our waiter/server was also in the kitchen so they may have had an unexpected staff shortage? If so, telling us would have helped. The food was great, I loved the different flavors and pairings, a couple of our group weren't as adventurous. Lovely atmosphere and decor.

Yummy! This is half way through a Carnival fritters with ice cream and expresso. An absolute delight after an evening on the town. Music and staff are kind and attentive. DJ starts at 9 p.m.
Love me my alleyway haunts: we were rewarded for our adventurous choices in food as everything was sensational, from the korean beef tartare, to the chicken liver wontons and savoury rice pudding, topped off with the beautiful orange rose syrup cake; a beautiful atmosphere where one can while away the hours... cheers to a newfound haunt in Εtepoti (visited Dec 2021).
Best coffee and cocktail in Dunedin! Good range of cup sizes, especially when I'm craving for an extra large hot drink. Also a wonderful, atmospheric place to sit and enjoy a delicious cake or grab a quick bite. Don't miss Dunedin's best kept secret!
