I've been going to Norman's Auto Electrical for decades and their service is always outstanding including today when they efficiently attended to a lighting issue on my Fiesta. Many thanks. I thoroughly recommend this outstanding business.

Giving a shout out to Rhys for taking the time to explain and show me all the issues with my van! Was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend

I dropped my car off without an appointment as the check battery light turned on. I had to leave the car in a very awkward place blocked there garage because the battery died they were super lovely. I was very anxious but the receptionist put me right as ease and was so lovely would highly recommend. I had to get a new alternator and it was much more affordable then I though it would be will return!.

SCAMMERS , I had a terrible experience with this auto repair shop. I paid nearly $800 to fix a starter issue, and just one day later, the problem returned. When I brought the car back, I was told it should be under warranty, but they never called me before making additional repairs that cost another $550. Overall, very disappointing service and lack of communication

Gary was a legend helping us find a battery for our Outlander Hybrid. Highly knowledgeable and was able to get us a good deal last minute saving us from waiting a month for a new battery. Would definitely recommend!

On a road trip to Dunedin from Temuka, mum's car game to a shuddering halt 15k's out from Dunedin. We were towed to Normans Auto as it was assumed it was an electrical fault. We had no accommodation and now no car. However the office lady let us use the computer to find accommodation and then Garry's son delivered us to the motel. (saving us taxi fare) It turned into a fairly major repair, but the whole way through we were kept informed by Garry and everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. The car has been repaired to a very high standard, was extensively road tested and even cleaned ready to go. Delivered to a friend who brought it back up to mum in Temuka, we cannot recommend Normans highly enough. Mum felt very well taken care of the whole way through and was kept informed of every step in the process. Thank you Garry & Bruce and the team at Normans for making what was a fairly disastrous event, not quite so bad.

I've been bringing my cars here for 7 years and they have always looked after me. The cars run great, they communicate well, and they've been great about sourcing second hand parts and putting in work to keep the final cost down. Highly recommend.

TERIBBLE and DISHONEST! The owners have a bad reputation for ripping people off as i found out afterwards. Terrible customer and mechanic service. If only they were good at fixing cars and respectful to customers as they are at making up excuses and reasons. Drove my car in fine and wanted a check up on the loud noise in the engine (which i later found out from another mechanic store it was caused by the shredded belt) they made up some excuse to why it wouldn't start up and told me to either get it towed away at my own expense or pay them extra to find out what the problem is. I had paid over $180 for them to check but they didn't even do the basic checks and asked me to pay another $270 to get it further diagnosed. I refused to pay extra to get my car back to driving condition as I have drove it in fine and this had never happened before so I had to contact the MTA (motor transport association). After MTA contacted leading edge about the problem they said they had fixed it so i can pick up my car. 5minutes into driving home my car broke down in the middle of the intersection and wouldn't start. All because they didn't do a basic proper check to tell me my belt was broken and needed replacing. Wasted $180 Would never go back again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Gary and his team are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company to anybody. A good thorough job can be expected at decent competitive rates.
