1. Saffron Bass ★☆☆☆☆

   What a disappointment! This place use to be the go too. Major fail. Pizza dry, small, thin and tasteless - previously large rectangular and full of flavor. The outside area is filthy, chewing gum for the unexpected to step in and even smells dirty. Really run down. No atmosphere. A complete turn from its previous days! Local community want support this place for long. Such a shame.

   Beautiful atmosphere.. Food is a feeling and if the atmosphere is great the food will be too. They have a kids play area.. Outside seating for those hot days or fresh air. Views of the orchards to go down with the well crafted ciders. Don't mind the drive from Hastings to Napier as its worth it. Their platters are amazing and works well for a group.

   Good place to spend a nice family dinner. Reservations are normally required, but shout out to the team for allowing us to dine without one. Food serving is great, taste is alright, nothing fancy, but good food. Not bad for the price. Good selection of alcohols They have pool tables, low trees (which my kids climbed), and playground for the kids. Overall, great ambience and a place that you would mind being a regular.

   Great place to spend a Saturday afternoon. Live entertainment, great selection of tables and games, tons of space depending on what you’re feeling! Burgers were good but the wait was 70 minutes - far too long considering the venue was only 40% full. Hence the three stars. Disappointingly, the entire outdoor area is a designated smoking area. There were no smokers when we were there, but this would have spoiled our lunch. Would be good if it was a smoke-free venue… Your live musician is awesome! Very talented

   Wish we lived closer to come here more. This is a perfect place for friends to get together or couples to go out. It’s perfect because they have something for everyone. I loved getting to try beer and cider at the same time. They even had alcohol free and low alcohol ciders for my mother in law. It was perfect! A little pricey for a tasting tray but really cool concept and generous sizes!! We had a blast and would totally recommend.
