The best sushi place in Dunedin. My son can have lunch here every day. A self-service is a good option. The price is good for the quality. Highly recommended.
I went here a couple days ago after being away for almost 2 years. The staff remembered me and it made me really happy. I have not been able to find a better sushi anywhere since moving! So this was a MUST trip for me. The staff are lovely and they always greet you politely. I would recommend the 'lion king' sushi. It's hands down delicious
Ordered Chicken bento box and chicken katsu curry for lunch. Bento box could have been much better, the chicken katsu curry is good and the gravy is thick and flavour full. The shop is located close to cheesecake shop and Anderson bay subway.
I have been in a few times, thought it about time to give some feedback. Today I had the chicken katsu - it has to be the best in town. The chicken was very light, almost like fish to eat, in a clean, crisp coating. Very fresh cabbage with dressing, rice, miso soup and miso sauce completed the set. My mission is to come back and work through the menu.
My family loves this place as others have said it can be pricey but is so much better than others in town. Also you can get some spicy seafood dishes there if you like a challenge, just ask for Jjambong and good luck.
Good option for Japanese food lovers, I tried the Bento. Miso soup is yum. The young lady staff should be more friendly and welcoming the customers. The place is quite clean and average price. The bites in the glass cabinet are yum, not cheap but worth it.
Had a great lunch here on a Wednesday. Came in a bit late but there was still a great selection of yummy sushi to have for a fair price. You can select the pieces you want yourself and the price for each is clearly labeled. Easy as! Nice staff and calm atmosphere - ideal to balance the mind when work's busy.
Love Koi sushi. Love that you individually choose what you want. Great variety. Good prices. Great service. Can't wait to go back
