Best curry in Dunedin, even better he does lunch meals for $7 down by the uni, it's a full portion!! They deserve more lovely customers. It's the most aromatic and most flavorful curry I've ever had, the Naan is lovely, and has a lovely buttery smell that wafted out when I opened the tin foil
My favorite Indian Food in Dunedin. I have tried them all and will now, only come here. Great friendly chef who does not hold back with his generous portions and ample spice. Banquet for 3. Yum. Choose your favorites and enjoy.
The best Indian Curry in town !!! My go to is the Paneer Makhni , I’ve never had a dish of this type anywhere with this much flavour! The Butter Pumpkin is another favourite , Pumpkin soft and. Sweet and a tangy delicious sauce . Other favourite s are the Malai Kofta and the Vindaloo chicken or the Chef Nendan will do a vege Vindaloo for us on request too which was also superb. Nendan chef and owner is real character always enjoy a chat and every weekend I can’t wait to go back . Such a cool wee curry house . Love it !!

My favourite Indian restaurant in Dunedin. Curries are consistently delicious and full of flavour, medium butter chicken is always a winner and my go to. Good variety amongst the different dishes too and the spice levels are perfect. The owner is a very friendly guy and always serving with a smile.
Generally the worst indian I've had. The rogan josh massively lacked flavor and the butter chicken was too sweet with no other flavor. Both curries had so much excess water from being defrosted I assume. And the naan's were very poor. Very disappointed at our dinner. We don't recommend and won't be going back.
Hands done the best Indian food in town. A group of us ran a fun experiment ordering a variety of options from every outlet in Dunedin over two months and every time the number one result was Tandooree Garden. The owner/chef is such a beautiful human... and such an amazing cook. For Freshness, for flavour, for a healthy satisfying good Indian cuisine then you must try. The low level marketing and signage possibly shows where the focus is... Beautiful food !
