Just had a really nice takeaway…..”very nicely cooked” gurnard and chips , and for me a really nice Nasi goreng. Pleasant staff too. Really enjoyed it sitting over at the beach.
Good fish, but has to be the smallest scoop of chips in NZ - not worth it
Absolutely terrible. Ordered 3 breaded fish and 1 battered fish. Everything was battered. Food was cold, chips tasted like they were cooked four days before and reheated. Called the shop to say the order was wrong to be told I had asked for it incorrectly and it was my fault. Absolutely shocking and certainly will not be going back.
service was good(besides the fact the lady serving me was eating a ice cream) - however for a $30 pack that is the smallest scoop i have ever seen! and all the items looked an tasted like they were left in the oil tad to long. the potato fritter batter was so thick! not the same takeaway shop i use to enjoy a year or so ago .
Faith in takeaway fish and chips restored. We had the battered guanard, it was fresh light and not greasy. The potato and kumera chips were fabulous. We had four pieces of fish and two scoops of potato chips with half a scoop of kumara. This fed a family of four. I highly recommend stopping here it is brilliant. Well done team!

My go to! We are locals, we generally buy 1 scoop 2 fish. ALWAYS GOOD. ALWAYS ENOUGH... Have also bought other types of food. Fast and polite, great tucker. HAPPY. Kia Ora...
Good fish,chips,oysters and mussels...nicer than a lot of other takeaways I've been to,will definitely go there again
