   On the advise of a GP ( not my own) I had a consult with the local Physiotherapist at Active Health New Brighton. As a very prior active 87 yr old I felt that due to age I was not given due priority for the condition that I had had causing the injury. The impression was that I was old and should not expect to be as active as I had been. "Shut up and wait for God!" I sought a different source of healing., what a difference. I found a totally different approach and it was brilliant. Instant pain relief and encouragement to enjoy full fitness into extreme old age. I now feel that the training of "Physios" is lacking and their expertise very limited. I now look forward to being able to cycle 80/100 km per day or walk 10/ 20 km with a tramping pack again. With regard to the response from Active Health: I do not suggest that any practitioner isin any way incompetent or that their training is wanting. It may well be that I srruck a bad day. Whereas the booking system is definitely wanting. My appointment was on the 28th of July 2025 and was paid for at that time too. The previous 2002 booking was not completed as the appointment made through the centralised system did not appear on the practitioner's diary; I waited for about an hour then walked out.

   I was having physio through Active Health following a fracture and was recommended to see one of your podiatrists and I am so glad I did! I have been seeing Julia for 3 months now and she is incredible! Every time I see her my quality of life is improved through her recommended supports and adjustments and seeing Julia was the best thing I could’ve done for my recovery. She is so kind and is committed to helping me achieve my recovery goals. I am so grateful to have Julia’s support, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services!

   Julia Podiatrist is very caring with her job she goes the extra mile to help. She worked on my husband feet as changed with Type two diabetic. How need look after your feet. Also helping with shoes also.
