A regular looking NZ fish and chippy place with outstanding F&C’s and meat Pattie’s are super yummy and the chippies are also very yummy. A good variety of choices. Yet to try burgers . I’m am really fussy about where I buy F&C’s so this was a lovely surprise to find another good one in Christchurch
Ordered a fish & a curry roll. The best curry roll I’ve ever tried in NZ, every fish & chip shop I go to I always order one & I’ve tried plenty all over NZ. The fish was good too, better than most fish & chip shop fish in Christchurch I’ve tasted so far. Will definitely be back
Couple here was really nice and food was prepared quickly. Fish was soft, not fishy taste, really amazing. Fries were huge portion. You get it into paper package and you take it with you. We took it to beach and enjoyed it with nice view. It is nothing fancy, but we got nicely full after long day. I'm giving the 5th star for the guy who took our order, as it took us long time to decide and he was very kind, patient and friendly.
If you want good food that hasn't been reheated go somewhere else
Fast, friendly, well cooked fish & chips. Reliable quality & good cost. So happy they are still standing after quakes and COVID.
Another outstanding fish and chips in town. Classic decor of traditional fish'and chips shop. Runs by a lovely Chinese family. So far we love the service and the foods there.
Nice, friendly and clean fish and chip shop. Great selection of burgers and I liked the pictures to help make a selection. We will be back.
Real good chips, none of that awful stale oil after taste that makes you think you're having a coronary. Battered cod was good too. Google asking me to star rate this place for atmosphere lol
