Gluten free options are delicious (yes same oil so if actually a coeliac, stink, but if not its good) Chips are crispy. Get a scoop and walk to the beach. Feed a seagull. Atmosphere.. its classic fish n chip shop. So yeah, if that's the atmosphere you dig, get amongst it.
We ordered 1x scoop garlic butter chips, 1x elephant fish, 1x lemon fish, 6x mussels, 2x crab sticks, 1x hot dog & 2x cans soft drink.... cost just under $38. Loved the elephant fish, super fresh & crunchy. Mussels were a decent size, crab sticks are very nostalgic, lemon fish & hot dog was just like any another I've had. But best garlic butter chips I've had. All n all super yummy FnC I've had in a while. If I lived closer to the area this would be my local.
We ordered 3 fish, 3 hotdogs, 2.5 scoops of chips and 2 spring rolls. It cost $46 and feed 5 adults easily. Everything was really crispy and not oily. Best Fish and chips we have had in a long time. I would recommend.
Amazing! Really enjoyed our meal. The chips were delicious. You can tell they are cooked in clean, quality oil! The chicken burger was also great, the chicken was crumbed, and it was real chicken breast, hard to find that sort of quality at a Fish & Chip shop. Will definitely be coming back.
A quiet and good place to have a quick chips and fish combo. There is lot of parking in front of the shop. We had 2 fish and chips and it was very good. Recommend this place if you are in the New Brighton beach and looking for a quick bite. Will definitely be back again to try more dishes
We went, we ordered, we wsited a little bit, we ate and the fish and chips were excellent. What more could you expect?
We only order chicken nibbles, it was great but some pits too hard to chew,and chips was good but not much for two scoops, looks can be deceiving,
Great crumbed fish, nice crisp crumb, great meaty chunky fish, perfectly cooked chips, at a great price and cheerfully served up on time following our phoned in order.
Love the fish and chips and Chiken burger. The kumara chips also very nice and the Gurnard always fresh. Highly recommended. After take away we will drive to the Brighton pier to enjoy the meal in the car.
