   The park is an excellent place for a stroll, or to watch sport. It's a lovely area, but spoilt by the lack of cleaners in the toilet block which was a mess during 2 visits within a space of 5 days. They were in need of cleaning on each occasion. My other gripe is the lack of a doggy doo container. In the hour or so that I was there i counted 10 dogs enjoying a stroll with their owners. Surely a receptacle could be provided for poo bags.

   Fond memories from the early to mid 80's playing in the estuary (even capsizing a hobycat a few times) to climbing trees in the park area. I see the fun police have added a rail to the lhs of the jetty to stop kids riding their BMX's off the jetty at low tide (2m drop in was my record) but if modern kids are anything like gen x, they will just learn to bunny hop it. Even though the fun police have tried to ruin it, South Brighton was a great place to spend one's youth.

   Great location for our one night stay, the hedges provided brilliant shelter from the strong winds. The children there made great use of the playground. Good showers even though they are not new. Small swimming pool for the children would be so welcome today in the Nor'wester 31 degrees.

   It Is so beautiful down here even on a cold cloudy day. I stumbled across south New Brighton Park, due to it had been raining I didn't go check out the playground but from the roadside it looked like fun, I did however park up authentic end and take a walk out on the dock which was very tranquil.

   It's a great spot to go for a walk with or without a dog. Go early in the morning and make the most of the quiet as it can get busy. Has a playground and grass area to kick around and play ball games. Why not go late at night and watch the sun set while sitting on the jetty.

   The smell was terrible, the toilets are very tight to get into, shower was good, the cabin room was okay, pillows were terrible, the distance from cabin to camp facilities is very far, it was wet for a couple of days and the water sat on the grass and you would get completely freezing cold feet or extra wet shoes. There is no walkway except using the driveway. The kitchen was tidy, but very little utensils to use. The laundry was clean. Never seen any staff on the grounds except in the office that you were not allowed in, you had to be served by a side slide window only.
