Dr Pinfold is a total legend, to be honest. So caring and takes time to explain everything. The nursing staff are excellent. I've had several cancer bits chopped out of me now, and Dr P is so caring and thorough. If you are looking for a good medical center, this one is freakin fantastic!!!!
Just wanted to express how thankful I am for Dr Pinfold and the team. Having come through a very difficult time with a family member- Dr Pinfold and his team have been amazing. The expertise of care was a massive comfort but on top of that, it was also Dr Pinfold and the teamβs genuine heartfelt care that has blown us away. It seems medical care that is both those things (expertise and care) is so rare now but we have such a treasure in the βabove and beyondβ care at Duke Street Medical Centre. Thank you to everyone
Duke street Medical centre is awesome. The team are always welcoming, helpful and friendly. Dr. Pinfold is excellent and always goes out of his way to help. Canβt recommend them enough!
Duke St Medical centre is nothing short of fantastic! The staff are super friendly, inviting and caring. Dr. Alf is incredible too- it is probably the first time that I felt heard and listened to by a doctor which was so refreshing. It just feels like they care!! I could not recommend them more!
The receptionist/ manager yelled at me before my first appt in-front of everyone in the waiting room that I wasnβt allowed in to the appt unless paid first. I felt incredibly embarrassed and complained. I was told she is just βloudβ and assumed having to pay first was just policy. Yesterday, whilst in the waiting room, a woman walked out AFTER her appt and told the same receptionist/manager that it was not her pay day and that she couldnβt afford to pay. The receptionist/manager told the woman kindly and not loudly βnot to worry about it until next timeβ!? The only conclusion I can think of, is the fact that I am a brown MΔori and that the receptionist/ manager is incredibly racist. I never received an apology for how this made me feel after complaining and it still agitates me to this day because I have never received such mistreatment in my life.
Good service
I was really impressed with the service here. When my normal doctor couldn't fit me in, or any other doctor in Cambridge, they made a time for me to come in. Dr. Pinfold was very kind, friendly, personable and helpful - he listened to me, answered my questions, etc. Though it was a quick appointment I did feel like I was heard and well cared for. I would recommend this medical centre highly :)
