Bean&Co. runs with a coffee‑and‑cabinet menu and a relaxed pace. Cabinet bakes and slices cover a quick stop. The team keeps things friendly and organised. Portions are generous yet well judged. A sensible spend for the spread.
Not so good an experience to our last visit. Food on show was of average price as other eateries. Trim milk for the tea had foam on it - watered down - powdered milk ??? Lady behind the counter had other things on her mind. The gentleman who delivered the food to the table did so with a smile
Only good thing was the coffee. Ordered three meals for lunch, eggs Benedict and two crispy chicken salads. Wanted 35 minutes to get one of the meals (eggs). Finally got the salads after having to ask for them. They were disgusting. Plate of lettuce ( no dressing) two small tomatoes and chicken. This is the bad part. RAW CHICKEN. Got money back. This was a local hang out for us but it has new owners. Will definitely not be going back. There were four complaints in the time we were there.
Will not be going back there. We loved going to Bean&Co, but under new management things have gone down hill. No Chicken Filo anymore, no wraps anymore. Lovely lady out the back but that's about the only nice thing I have to say. It took 20 minutes to get take away coffee and they weren't busy at all. Sausage roll was fill of herbs. So now I shall wait until another new owner takes over.
Ahhh Bean & Co, what can i say that hasn't been said? Not only are the staff exceptional but the coffee is sublime. As a foreigner visiting this country for the first time, I consider Bean & Co as a home away from home. Not all heroes wear capes but baristas wear aprons!
The coffee here is to live for. Perfect taste texture and design. The food and presentation is exquisite. I could not recommend this place highly enough. Bean and co, I shall be back.
Fast friendly service in a well decorated location. Lots of space but not so many patrons so the atmosphere was lacking on that account. You can order at the counter or electronically but it was taking us so long to figure out the touch screen system it was faster to go to the counter! My husband’s extra hot latte was just that and there was no additional charge for the cream to go with my long black although the coffees are a good dollar more for the same size I can get at my local favourite of coffee culture.
Had the big breakfast. Service was unfriendly. Hashcake was raw in the middle, everything was doused in dried mixed herbs. The toast was good.
Bought a pork belly burger, 20.00. Bun chewy and dry, pork belly razor thin slices and chewy, horrible flavour. Egg not cooked properly either. Made complaint to kitchen before leaving half the food on plate. Give two stars because coffee is okay.
