   This is definitely a must do, the boat trip is beautiful and very scenic, The food is delicious and the staff very helpful and cheerful. And the boat is very cool. Definitely recommend for a great little get together with friends or family.

   I celebrated my 50th birthday with the lunch cruise today. We had a group of 52 and it was wonderful. As a person whom works in the hospitality trade it is a very busy time of the year and i really wanted an experiance where i could be the one to sit back and relax. The weather was perfect and scenary beautiful. Dennis n the crew were really great. Good service and the ham was cooked beautifully And a generous portion of salmon. Everyone on board had a great time as well. Thank u for making it special.

   Update: refund has been received and my original post has been deleted as promised. However Dennis is now calling my place of work threatening that if I don’t take down my 1 star review that he will be leaving a bad review on my place of employment whom have nothing to do with this situation. He has accused me of lying and had his partner and family / friends comment on my own personal things and business page as well as contacting my employer saying he will defame them if I don't take down this review. Honestly, doesn’t even deserve one star. The (lack of) communication has been disgraceful. There is absolutely no customer service and Dennis (the owner) has been extremely rude and dismissive. On their website he advertises casual cruises. When I rang to enquire about booking one of these I got told they no longer do these anymore despite them being on the website. So I booked and paid for a dinner cruise instead for my Mums 70th for 4 of us - ($334) the next morning I got an email saying that my booking has been cancelled with no explanation as to why. I called Dennis and asked why our booking got cancelled - he said that I “obviously didn’t read that they were fully booked” I informed him that there was nowhere that stated that they were fully booked and if that was the case I shouldn’t have been able to book in or money taken. I kindly asked when my refund would come through. He asked me to text him my bank account details and the amount I paid which I did. Days have passed and no refund has been processed. I messaged him again asking what’s going on and he responded with “I have not been paid yet from stripe or whoever pays me” I asked again when this will be done as I need the money to book something else and expressed how disappointed I am. No reply. I called and long story short he is refusing to refund me because supposedly the money hasn’t shown on his end despite the receipt I’ve provided him. He said he doesn’t know who his payments come through or how to contact them. He’s given me 3 different company names for who he uses as his payment system and is claiming he doesn't doesn’t know any details of. He’s not telling me when or if I’m getting refunded at all and hasn’t once apologised for inconvenience and has been extremely rude and dismissive. I am extremely upset.

   I booked this as a night out with a few friends from Australia. Was probably the highlight of their trip. Although it was slightly drizzly the views were beautiful the food was simple yet filling and bountiful! The family running the business was just wonderful. I would 100% recommend. Ask joy or Dennis to seat you in the acrylic covered clear deck at the bow. What a wonderful way to spend an evening

   All you can eat buffet. Lovely salads with ham, chicken and roasted potatoes. Drinks additional but standard bar prices. Great commentary over the 2 hour cruise. Weather was wet but warm and dry inside boat. Lots of bird life along river banks (Royal Spoonbill and Kotuku)

   Doesn't deserve 1 star. Very rude and aggressive customer service. Boat left dock at 12.20 today (mothers day), despite being told it was a 12.30 departure. We called and asked why they left early, they blatantly lied and said boat departed at 12.30, on pressure he admitted they left early, but still blamed us for not being on the boat. They purely operate to take your money and offer as little as possible in return. 100% would not recommend this company. Stay clear.

   We had a party of 5 for a Sunday lunch river cruise. The staff were very friendly, well organised and informative. The food was very good and quantities were better than we expected. The Skipper was great and happily chatted about the boat and the river with its surroundings. A nice relaxed atmosphere and a great way to enjoy a Sunday lunchtime. We will be back for another river trip in the future and I would suggest this as an option for a work outing too.

   Great value for what you get, enjoyed the cruise. Lunch was good, not the best I have had, but fresh salad l, salmon and mash potatoes. The experience was worth it, the food is a bonus. It would be great to hire for event.
