Great for camper vehicles and far to rugby grounds, BMX track, the wetlands and toilet facilities. Good for bikes, walking the dog or kids playground.
A fantastic NZMCA park for members. There is a dump station and potable water. An off lead dog park at the back. Easy access to the bike trail to Paeroa. We also rode an easy, flat 14 km to Cafe 77, towards Matamata. It was a quiet place to stay for 2 nights and on Sunday morning there was a great craft market within walking distance.
Allows dogs on leads. Has a dog run and walk way to Te Aroha. The park has facilities for water and emptying. Pay online. There is a custodian that frequents and a gentleman that sells homemade condiments. Love it here
Really enjoyed my stay here. Good facilities. Big dog park. Plenty of good walks around the wetland area. The grounds are well managed and maintained, and a credit to the volunteers. Here's a couple of aerial shots. One of the recent event at Boyd Park
NZMCA is the New Zealand motor home and caravan park association and you have to be approved member of the club to park here with you caravan for really cheap but it has no facilities, only water and dumping facilities.
Great new addition to the NZMCA parks scheme. Bit boggy on the grass in wet weather with limited hard surface area but it's early days and it's a real easy walk to town and the bike/rail trails. Great dog park next door .. an added bonus for our woof who travels with us
We did stay but looks quite good. Metal area but a bit if a walk if you are in a motorhome to town. Water etc
Great site. So handy to town. Now has potable water plus a dump station.

Reasonably flat ground. Good for larger vehicles. Water available, dump station coming. Fenced in dog run. Good walking and bike tracks. Dairy within walking distance. FR eggs available in the shed
