   Burgers with a doofer!” It was my first time having a burger served with a burger holder — which immediately made me wonder why we don’t see this more often in Australia. There were two vegetarian options available, and we chose the one with the pumpkin patty (the sweet potato option is also available but we didn’t try it). We ordered the V8 Vegan Burger for ourselves and the lighter Vege Pinto for our daughter. The beetroot in patty gave it its tangy taste. The patty was soft, not oily at all, and importantly didn’t have that heavy fried-oil taste you often get with patties. The chips were okay, nothing exceptional, but the burger was filling enough for a full meal. Overall, a solid and satisfying burger experience.

   Hardly eat out as its always so hit and miss at most places. Was pleasantly surprised with Papanui burger fuel though. Friendly staff. Decent food which is a rarity now days when taking out. They listened to what we ordered and thats exactly what we got in front of us. Well done burger fuel Papanui we will be back. Highly recommend for takeout or dine in. Cheers

   I paid $13.90 for a Kids Meal for takeaway, and I was genuinely shocked when I got home and opened it. There were only a handful of fries—literally about a dozen—and just five tiny chicken nuggets. I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. For that price, it felt more like a joke than a meal.

   Always the best burgers at BurgerFuel. The Papanui store is bigger than any of the others we've been to which was nice. Awesome decor and atmosphere as always. Staff were friendly and efficient. Didn't have to wait long and the food was excellent. Ordered through the app which was super easy and convenient. Looking forward to coming back often now we're over this side of town.

   I recently had an unfortunate experience at Burger Fuel that has left me thoroughly disappointed and reluctant to return. As a regular customer, I have always enjoyed their food, but tonight's order was a complete disaster, to say the least. First and foremost, the quality of the order was far from satisfactory. The burger I received was cold, which is an absolute letdown when you're expecting a piping hot, delicious meal. Not only that, but the pattie was missing entirely. It's mind-boggling how such a basic component of a burger could be overlooked. To add insult to injury, my burger was overrun with lettuce, leaving me desperately searching for any trace of the avocado that was supposed to be included. It was a far cry from the previous experiences I've had at Burger Fuel. Additionally, the service was subpar. I placed my order 45 minutes in advance, expecting it to be ready at 6:00 PM as promised. However, I had to endure an additional 15-minute wait at the store, which was incredibly frustrating. When you're hungry and expecting a timely meal, such delays can be highly aggravating. All in all, this disappointing experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. The lack of attention to detail, coupled with the cold burger and missing ingredients, has made me seriously question the quality control at Burger Fuel. As someone who has been a loyal customer, it's disheartening to have such a negative encounter that has soured my perception of the brand. Unless significant improvements are made, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Burger Fuel based on this recent experience. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and addresses them promptly. In the meantime, I'll be exploring other dining options that prioritize consistency and customer satisfaction.

   Always a great experience at our local Burger Fuel making the most of a VIB (very important birthday) & claiming a free birthday burger! It wasn’t my birthday on this occasion it was my husband’s so he got his free burger & I made the most of being a AA member & scored a delicious banana thick shake FREE with my burger purchase! Service was fast & efficient & the burgers were great! We’ll be back! Beware of the door to the toilets as you might not get back in…

   Absolutely terrific - we got a bacon backfire and the new chick*n little, with kumara chips and regular chips. Fast, clean and tasty. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Definitely recommend:)

   Went in for a solo dinner.$28 for the burger chips and a drink, burger was decent, cooked well and tasty and I do love aoili with chips but was all of it worth $28? Short answer, no it wasn't. If you're longing for a burger in the area then go for it but prepared your wallet especially if going with a group or family.
