   I purchased 3 different types of supposed KN95 masks online and when they arrived they appeared counterfeit (incorrect or no markings etc). I phoned to ask if they'd been tested in a lab and was told they had been independently tested in NZ, however upon requesting the lab report, I was sent one for a mask tested overseas that I didn't buy and when I asked for further clarification, was told they would not refund me or reply to me any further. Certification slips included with masks are often faked, and 2 of 3 of the manufacturers of these masks didn't exist when I searched for them (only one existed on Alibaba, which is not known for selling genuine masks). It's impossible to have them tested in NZ (no labs), so I can't confirm either way if these are in fact legit, so buyer beware. On searching the international mask testing labs databases, these masks didn't exist as tested anywhere either. Given I was polite in my requests to ensure the masks were safe to use, it was disappointing that the customer service was so brisk and my emails required follow up from me to get a response, before I was told to basically get lost. Not very trustworthy.
