Judging by the mixed bag of reviews I have just read, there's something fishy going on here!
I went to go here in the weekend. Checked Google to see if they were open and said opens at 11am. Turned up just after 11am and the place looked liked it was being renovated or closed down. No notes on the door, no info on their FB page to tell me otherwise and no reply to my messages asking what was going on.
Terrible communication and you could at least turn you're opening hours off on google so people like myself don't go out of their way for nothing.

Literally inedible flank steak in the Harlem Hero. Ordered on Uber and was looking forward to a delicious sandwich, but instead, I taste the worst thing I've tasted in over a decade. Something seriously wrong with the steak. Tasted like it was expired. It tasted the way beef smells after it's been rotting for a few days. Made me vomit as soon as I took a bite out of it. Whether you are serving steak that has either been sitting all day, or is actually expired, it's not good enough. Will never visit New York Deli again and will only speak negatively of it when asked. Absolutely disgusting.

Curious in name, but not a fusion of Jewish and Italian delicatessens from the USA. If you try to do classic New York without a fryer or a grill you can still get good food with classic names and some imported cold soda. But you will be disappointed in something like a cold cheese steak with salad ingredients. Do not get your hopes and expectations too high for your expats. It's decent food anyway and the steak and beef are tasty.
One person can take quite a while to make six sandwiches. There is one booth, the rest is hard metal.

this place is so expensive and all you're getting is a subway sandwich - but SMALLER. total rip off. place is always empty because nobody wants it - too expensive. food is nice, but absolutely not worth what you pay.

First time dining here since they moved from Lincoln road and the food has only gotten better. Staff were friendly and provided great service. Sandwiches were filling and well priced. Highly recommend trying their house Iced Tea.

So far so good , atmsphere / environment is okay , not crowded / not many people . Easy parking in Bush Inn . Counter & table services are general normal standard . The Quality of drinks and foods are similar to other middle class coffee shop . No particular specials at this shop , the milk / cream pattern on top of latte and flat white were terrible . But I will go there again as there is not crowded. Thanks

Love NYD's smoothies! Affordable, tasty and good size, goes down real well with one of their yummy Hero sandwiches. A nutritious, filling, inexpensive meal when you're hungry - always satisfies. Great service at both delis also!

Enjoyed our food and great NY styling. Way you get served or where to start could flow better. Good service. Mall car parking. Own toilets which were clean. No hot dogs and really went for one. Key lime pie tasty but thought $5.20 for size a bit pricy. All in all good enough to go back for a sandwich.
