Dined in, had a pig blood spicy pot. Interesting layout of the dinning area, kitchen. Dark inside, traditional style of Chinese table and chairs. The lady, possibly the owner is friendly.
Humble interior nothing fancy. The food is amazing- hot, fresh & very tasty. Huge servings! Friendly welcome and really reasonable prices too. Will definitely be keen to try some other dishes here.
I visited this restaurant a few times, the noodles were ok, but I prefer their rice options. I like the starters, it's spicy and appetising. I also like the braised beef rice, the portion is big and tasty.
Cannot use words to describe my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a beef noodle soup, and when I got the meal, it looked okay, but then when I was about to eat it, the noodle smelled like spoiled food, used clove, and just smelled so bad that you can’t imagine, and that I wasn’t able to actually put it in my mouth. So then I left it to the side and eat another meal that my boyfriend ordered, it was better than the noodle soup, but still, so terrible. We ended up ordering plain rice with them cos I was so hungry that I needed some food. I’m the afternoon, my boyfriend and my stomach started to ache so much, and my boyfriend even got diarrhea. Anyway, we will not come to this restaurant second time, the kitchen is not dirty, and the foods are not fresh.
Provided nice comforting noodle soup dishes at 1:45pm. Satisfactory portion sizes, even the small size.
One of the popular Chinese restaurants in Christchurch. I had tried their food in pot lucks where friends got their takeaways. Tasted nice. This time I was more tempted to try a noodle soup flavour that is a bit hard to find: sour and spicy fish. The taste is good and the portion size is quite to my liking as well. I do hope the soup base could be clearer and less greasy. But overall a happy dining experience. There seems to be a cooked BBQ meat vending place at the back of the restaurant and looks pretty popular. Might be something to try next time.
Highly recommended. Eating here for more than 5 years now and always coming back. Price is very affordable and huge serving. Their food like cooked at home. Owner is very friendly. When she got our order wrong one time, she is very apologetic and corrected straight away. Xie xie
An absolutely amazing experience! Actually we wanted to go in another restaurant for our dinner and unfortunately our expected one had already been closed. We found that Jolin's was open. And it actually turned out from much better one! We were nicely welcomed with beautiful smile. Great menu with a huge diversified range. The service was pretty quick, compared with other restaurants in that area. The foods were delicious and fresh. They served a good amount that we couldn’t finish it all and we didn’t want to leave the left overs so the take away containers led us to a nice solution! The restaurant was clean as well as the toilets. It was a nice experience for us and we will definitely go there again :)
