A challenging course which was very well maintained. The pin positions were tricky and I feel it played a lot harder than rated.
Phenomenal course. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and the whole place has a great atmosphere. I made the drive down from Auckland and it was absolutely worth it. Pace of play was spot on and the beers and fries afterwards were a perfect finish to the round. The only small improvement would be having tees readily available on the driving range rather than having to go back into the pro shop to collect them. Other than that, a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back again soon.
Immaculate course and easily the friendliest staff I have come across in both the pro shop and restaurant. The course itself was easier than expected but the greens were challenging. Perfect condition.
Tieke exceeded all expectations, awesome course layout / design, the back nine is not long, but gives you a lot to think about. Loads of funky greens and areas to chip from, looking forward to playing again soon! James Ashwin
Great place for a winter round. Very dry under foot and an enjoyable layout.
The food, wine and atmosphere was great. The service was not worth the price. There was our group of 10 people and one other table of 4 at lunchtime. It wasn't busy but the majority of our orders were forgotten or mixed up with the other tables. There was plenty of staff on hand but still many mistakes were made. Very disappointing and will not be recommending to anyone.
Amazing place ❤️ beautiful challenging golf course , Golf shop , Excellent restaurant with cabinet & cooked food ,Great coffee ☕️ all with amazing relaxed views of course & scenery , even if not playing a great place to visit & take in the scenery have a Coffe , Drink & a meal , a Gem in the Waikato
As a very amateur golfer, I very much enjoyed my day at Tieke. The course is extremely well maintained and managed. The only minor drama we had was the cart turning off in no-go zones - it would be good if there was a warning. Frustrating because at times, it was not clear at all where to go next. However, overall, a great course and facility. Amazing putting and chipping greens, great pro shop, good booking experience and a nice restaurant overlooking the 18th green.
Fantastic place to play golf. Excellent from tee to green and quite forgiving with run of areas if you miss the green. Quality service in the pro shop. Recommend for a visit. I would say playing the cedar tee was a lot shorter distance than the card suggested but there are plenty of distance markers. Also the course is not picked up on gps apps yet.
