Had my hair cut today at the Base. Nice friendly welcome and no waiting. Cut it how I wanted it. I will be back for sure.
My 2yr old son got a haircut today by a male stylist and we left very upset by the 'cut' he received. It was very very choppy with short and long hair all over and far too much taken from the front. My toddler was visibly upset and shaking from the experience as the guy was very cold and forceful. We ended up leaving to avoid anything worse. We later returned and ask for it to be fixed and luckily got a different stylist and the woman was able to salvage it a bit from what it was thankfully. So this is no reflection on her, but we were very upset and displeased with our initial service. Especially as the male refused to fix it and said he was finished but still hung around longer than we were there? Although this is our local, we will not be returning.
The lovely lady here gave me the best short haircut I've had in along time. I am from out of town so just called in on the off chance of getting a cut without waiting. Very chatty and paid $30 so a very happy customer here!
The dude showed me the length that he was gonna cut my hair down to and after I gave the ok for that length being cut off. he immediately discarded that and cut it to the same hight as the rest of my hair. I would not recommend unless you want an extremely simple haircut.
Got very basic long hair trim told them in growing it out but they cut like 2 inches off looks very boxy for a womens cut I have done better jobs myself the only thing right was that it's even. I'm not a fussy person either hardly get my hair cut but this left me in tears when I left and I'm in my 20s I couldn't understand my stylist. Hopefully if you do decide to go here you get a better stylist. (Should have paid the extra money and time to go else where I think I might have to go get this haircut fixed by someone else)
I'm not one to post reviews online but O MY GOD what a terrible experience I had yesterday. I have thin and what was long hair I went in wanting a small trim around just to cut off the dead ends. She barely looked at my hairs intergrity and gave it 2 sprays of water before she proceed to hack at my hair with a blade which I thought was for shaving! Mind you my hair was DRY! I told her it is extremely short and even pulled out all of my hair to show her the comparison. The little Asian hairdresser tried to laugh it off and told me my hair is barely shorter but I can SEE she has cut off almost 4 inches! She just laughed through the entire experience and told me my hair will grow back in two weeks! I know my hair will grow back but in about 4 months I will have it back to the length it was at. To make it worse she kept clawing at my face when trying to pill my hair to the back and never apologised for it. Would not recommend.
These ladies are always so nice and friendly, prices are very reasonable. Photos are of my son's style done by the Lovely DESIREE.... the only stylist that my boy will see
