   Feeling really sad to give this review. I explicitly asked for a blunt cut bob with no layers in my hair as I had previously hated my bob with layers. Unfortunately when the lovely hairdresser asked if I wanted it lighter at the back I said sure (assuming she would thin it out a bit). Instead I have been left with a very choppy, uneven, layered bob that is as short as we can go leaving no length to reconcile this mistake. The layers are so severe that it looks like they were chopped on accident at the wrong length. All that to say, the team were lovely but I wasn’t listened to and have ended up with a horrible haircut right before Christmas. Very upset.

   I popped in after work . I was after a shorter style with summer arriving. A lovely Scottish lady did a professional cut and made amazing job. She understood my ideas that I was tring to achieve Very happy with care and attention given. Price was fair for time she took. Overall best haircut I have had in long time. I will be returning .

   I came in yesterday for a haircut which was my first one i had in a year since ive been trying to grow my hair out. Got longer layers, got a couple inches off, shaping done around my face and my hair thinned. The shaping around my face and the couple inches off were great. But i am soo disappointed with the layers and the thinning. I have had my hair thinned soo many times in my life but this is the first i have ever had a hair dresser take it all the way to my skull. I was in shoke when she did it and pair that with me being an anxious person I didnt feel like I could speak up about it. I now have basically blad patches all over my head. I have a wedding to go to next month and i know for sure my hair wont have grown that much im soo disappointed about it and upset about my hair.

   Great haircut for my twin toddlers from the lovely Hazel. She was kind and patient. Highly recommend her. What took the shine off our visit was after driving 45min, booking online, waiting 1hr for two 2yr old haircuts we were charged $40 per child. $80 total! More than I an adult would usually pay anywhere! I was advised of the new charges and showed a little sign on the desk, they have a minimum $40 charge on a weekend no matter what kind of haircut, bear in mind I was already in salon I’m a chair ready to be cut. Noted. I was a returning customer, and I will never return again. That’s a horrendous charge! A shame because Hazel was so lovely and very skilled.

   Highly recommended!! Dropped into this salon for an unexpected hair change and was so pleasantly surprised with the results. All of the ladies in salon are super friendly and give great customer service. Ginny is an absolute treasure! She is very skilled in her art and has an eye for detail, provides the best aftercare/style tips and is up to date with trends. If you are after a full circle experience I definitely suggest you pop in to see the ladies at Just Cuts The Base today.

   Always been our go to for kids hair cuts, lovely team and love the online booking system. However, unsure if we will continue to use as discovered today that they've recently changed their prices on weekends so that you pay the same price as an adult for a preschoolers haircut! To me this just seems to be taking advantage of already busy and overworked parents and isn't a policy I agree with.

   Wow, I’ve heard of supply & demand but this place is ridiculous … & for mediocre quality. Kid’s hair cuts go up 30% from their standard rates for weekends. If you book in you find out just as you go for the cut which is after a 1 1/2 hour wait. There are plenty of really good private hair dressers/barbers at a much more reasonable (consistent) rate. I recommend you try them before this place.

   Went in today looking at getting a haircut ive never had before and these women were amazing! They all had great opinions to help me choose what to do with my mop of hair. Ginny did such a great job and showed me how to style my new haircut. Even gave me tips on what products would be good for me. Checking in through the app is an added bonus!
