   Best bike shop I’ve ever been in! I always love going to cycling shops abroad so I checked Google maps and saw the excellent reviews Scotty Browns had and decided to drop in. I saw they stocked Maap bibs and wanted to try them on. The gentleman that helped me (didn’t get his name unfortunately) was super kind and knowledgeable. He was quite happy to simply let me try them on and buy them online when I returned home. They fit great so I decided to pick them up on the spot. We had a great chat about cycling and he even threw in some Scotty browns bottles for me to take home as a souvenir from New Zealand. Scotty Browns is everything I love about cycling culture. Good people that love talking about bikes and sharing their love of cycling. If I ever find myself in Christchurch again, I’ll stop by for sure.

   Went to another bike shop first and regretted it when they didn't fix the braking issue and nearly caused a crash. Scotty Browns, great service with friendly, knowledgeable bike mechanics and super fast. Booked it online Saturday. Repaired by Monday lunchtime.

   I went into Scotty Browns with a few vage ideas and lots of questions about buying a hardtail mountain bike. I was immediately welcomed, and felt valued. My uncertainties about the many difference options were all listened to. At no point did I feel that I was being led to any particular bike or brand. Scotty was only interested providing me with a suitable bike for my cycling enjoyment. No hard sell, just take your time think it through. I bought a bike the next day and so far it has provided me with pure cycling contentment. I cannot recommend this store as anything other than first class.

   Scotty Browns and the team went out of their way to make this dream come true, I cant thank them enough. New bike day has never been better The new #scottfoilRC10 bike has ticked all the boxes for me in terms of comfort, speed and handling. Honestly i couldn't believe the changes and value for money with this bike set up, its out the gate impressive. No winter motivation required now its time to get out on the roads and see what the #scottfoilRC10 is made of.

   Personalised service, awesome equipment, and an experience that really blew me away. I recently reached out to Scottybrowns Cycles to rent a battery for my Old Ghost Road trip on my eBike. Not only was Scotty personally willing to assist me and set me up with this unusual request, but he personally coordinated getting the battery to me to make this epic trip seamless and smooth. I was touched by Scotty's trust in me (someone he never met) for the rental of such an expensive piece of equipment. Even though Scotty must have been crazy busy during the New Years rush, he personally saw to it that all arrangements were made. Such genuinely kind and trusting service is a rarity these days. Scotty pulled it off. Old school Kiwi friendliness at its best. Hope to catch up in person and see the shop in Christchurch next trip south.
