I purchased a brand-new Toyota Corolla from Miles Toyota and was initially satisfied with my experience. However, my trust in the dealership was severely shaken after a deeply frustrating encounter with their repair services. A while after purchasing the car, it was stolen. Upon recovery, my insurance company recommended one of their approved repairers to handle the necessary repairs. However, I insisted that my car be repaired at Miles Toyota, trusting them as the original dealership. Despite my preference, the insurance company advised against this, explaining that Toyota dealerships typically handle only mechanical repairs, not bodywork. They recommended a repairer capable of addressing both issues to avoid unnecessary delays, complications, and the inconvenience of towing the car to two separate locations. Nevertheless, I insisted, and the car was sent to Miles Toyota. Regrettably, my experience with Miles Toyota took a disappointing turn. The staff and manager made every effort to double-charge both me and the insurance company. This situation coincided with my annual capped-price service, which costs $250 and is part of a 4-year service plan. When a brand-new car is stolen, it undergoes a thorough inspection covered by the insurance company. However, part of the annual service also includes an inspection component, resulting in an overlap in services. Instead of being transparent about this overlap, Miles Toyota attempted to bill both me and the insurance company for the same work. What’s worse, they pressured me into paying by claiming that my warranty would not be extended if I didn’t comply. Rather than showing empathy for a loyal customer who was already dealing with the distress of having their brand-new car stolen, Miles Toyota was fishing in troubled waters. Transparency, honesty, and customer care are essential qualities expected from a Toyota dealership, but sadly, Miles Toyota failed to meet these expectations. This incident not only tarnished my trust in Miles Toyota but also raised serious questions about the values I associate with the Toyota brand as a whole. I strongly urge others to exercise caution and demand clear, itemized billing if choosing to use their services.

The worst purchase experience we have ever had, car ordered Feb 22, first promised august 22, we had to ring them to find out where it was September 2022, then promised November, then promised January 2023, then promised August 2023, but arrived May 2023. Wrong colour arrived !! Boot mats and headlight protectors were not fitted. Very disappointed in Toyota customer service, but love the car.
