I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at motel. I was unfairly charged extra money without clear or proper justification. In addition to this, some of my clothes were damaged and bleached, which caused me personal loss and inconvenience. Despite this, the motel deducted additional money from my bond, which I believe is completely unreasonable and unjust. I was not informed beforehand about these extra charges, nor was I given a satisfactory explanation when I raised my concerns. The handling of this situation lacked professionalism, transparency, and customer care. I expect fair treatment and clear communication from accommodation providers, and unfortunately, this experience did not meet those basic standards. I request a proper review of these charges and a refund of the unfairly deducted amount. I hope management will take this complaint seriously and improve their service for future guests. Sincerely,

The bed was terrible. I asked for a refund to go to another hotel but the owner refused. Also I accidentally broke a glass doing dishes and mistakenly put a teaspoon in my luggage. Owner has sworn at me and now won't give me my 100 nzd bond back.

I was actually very impressed with the room 33. Very clean and cozy, well heated, comfortable bed, good hot water pressure in the shower, no noise, everything new, high quality and functional. Good selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, shampoo, conditioner. Large TV, hair dryer, additional blankets, pillows, towels etc available. Free parking just in front of the room. The reception was very polite and warm, offered milk, answered all queries. Required a small bond which was promptly refunded after check out. Room well serviced. Definitely way above expectations for the price. The location is also exceptional for central city events.

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE! Rude host! Took money without warning for a so called "damage deposit". This is not mentioned on their booking requirements they just take it. Said we'd get deposit back after they clean room and check to see if any damage - like getting penalized beforehand. We got that back because my wife is on to it. Paid in full & they tried to process another payment but didnt work because we gave debit details. Had we given credit card details, I 100% believe they would have taken more money without notifying us and try to scam us.

I would give ZERO stars if I could!!!!!!!!!!!! How does this place even survive? Rooms are nearly as bad as the owner and manager. They are both incredibly RUDE and do not understand customer service at all. I have been verbally abused by both for complaining about the cleanliness of my room. This is AFTER they have taken my money and my deposit (which they do not warn you about). ZERO STARS!!! This place is disgusting and so are the owners manners.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. Abused me verbally for locking myself out at 10.30pm and told me I could sleep outside in the cold after I had already paid for a room. Have also charged my friend's card without warning and refuse to refund for a "missing key". Huge red flag. Do NOT stay here!!! Spend your hard earned money where they will actually appreciate it and treat you like a human, not a dog.

Moderate motel, bit aged and could do with renovations. The shower in our room wasn't good at all. However the location is great, easy to get around and close to most popular spots. However you get what you pay for.

Clean, modern motel about 30min walk from Chch Hospital. It is quite loud but that's to be expected as it's on a main road. My only criticisms are that the curtains are very thin and let a lot of light in at night and that the bathroom in the room I stayed in needed some paint touch ups. Room was otherwise great and very clean! Lovely, accommodating staff who were very kind. Would definitely stay again.
