Palsun Howick keeps things pan‑Asian comfort and focused on flavour. Portions are generous yet well judged. The team keeps things friendly and organised. Noodles arrive glossy and well seasoned. A sensible spend for the spread.
The black bean noodles is authentic and taste very good. The owner told us they make the noodle fresh every day, which make the difference! The fried rice is well cooked. Not sticky, well seasoned! The owner is also a very nice and sweet Korean lady who host us well. She also greeted us on the way out!
Visited here at 7pm on a Saturday and we were left with only 3 dishes available out of their menu book. They were what we wanted anyway so couldn’t complain. Food was good and are big portions. Staff was welcoming and attentive.

It's not your typical Chinese restaurant; it offers a Korean twist on Chinese flavours that's truly delightful. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, as the place isn't very spacious. The menu is diverse and the dishes are tasty, making it a spot I frequent often. I particularly recommend trying their jjajangmyeon, jjamppong, sweet and sour pork and fried dumplings.
great food and service!! tables are clean even understaffed, and staffs were very polite and friendly. Food was so good and big portion, would definitely recommend and come back again for the jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk!
The best Jjajangmyeon in New Zealand. I would love to come back for it and want to try other menus too. All the staffs were friendly !

We❤️#Palsun/#EightImmortals! 13.4.22 // ---- dined here 3x now and it's always a pleasure to.dine here with my family... food is consistently served good, staff is warm& friendly. Place is always kept clean, not too noisy even when it's peak hours which is at around lunch time.
