Stunning on a sunny day with boats coming and going. Sun sparkling on the blue water and space to walk or kids to run around.
Council seems to be cracking down on the more antisocial elements brought up in other posts. Arrogant people with boat trailers should be in their sights too.
Lovely quiet spot with great views
Except once again for rough sleepers in their boat and cars, vans under the front trees, it is ok. Nice restaurant. Nice walk.
Beautiful spot to watch the sun set.
Came here for the freedom camping spots, fantastic little secluded spot, but ended up leaving because the park is quite slanted and had to go all the way up our ramps. (Just felt a bit unsafe with the ramps is all). - quite far from the loo's - private beach/water entry - it's free - didn't feel great about leaving it to go shopping because its quite hidden away from public Would recomend to smaller Campers - we have a 6 berth with an Elvis hump and we're just too wobbly on the tips of our ramps. Otherwise we would've stayed.
Great spacious area for recreation, boating or just relaxing close to cafe's etc
