Inasal is my favourite Filipino dish, and it isn’t easy to find authentic flavour close to home. I’ve tried a lot of places here in Auckland, and nothing compares except Mang Joe’s. They’re the best inasal and the only inasal closest to the one back home. Chicken is juicy and perfectly cooked! Their staff is amazing, friendly, and always smiling. ✨ I’ve been a customer of Mang Joe’s since they started selling at food markets, and even traveled from the north shore to their home in the south to buy inasal. They’re that good! So happy they finally opened a spot here in the city, near my office. If you want to try an authentic Filipino food outside Adobo, try their Chicken Inasal (order SP1)!
Opening day! Avelino-Erbina Family definitely enjoyed our meals that day. Their grilled chicken was big and was cooked well , just the way I like it to be done... Waiting time was'nt that too long, it was all worth it...
Been craving for a good ol inasal so had to Uber straight to mang Joe's for this they cook orders as they come so you know it's fresh comes as a set with veggies soup rice and sauce good value for money however the game changer for me is the kinilaw which was the special of the day it was absolutely delicious smokey flavourful carving satisfied and worth going back
You can’t argue that the chicken was cooked well. It’s juicy, it’s tender like any legit inasal. Would I wait 30mins for it? probably not.
I love Mang Joe Inasal.. it tastes similar to Mang Inasal back in Philippines. Totally recommend.
