Did a pickup order, the people were lovely and the pizzas were delicious. You can change the cheese on any pizza to vegan cheese so itβs great for vegans! Crispy dough, affordable and cooked quick in front of me.
We visited Mamma Rosa not for pizza (though the wood-fired aroma was incredibly tempting), but for dessert β and weβre so glad we did! The tiramisu was the best weβve ever had. It was perfectly soaked biscuit layers with sweet, creamy goodness. The brownie was also rich and moist, with a scoop of ice cream that balanced it beautifully. Outstanding desserts!
We stopped in for late lunch and really enjoyed it β the pizzas were delicious and the entrΓ©es were great too. The menu had plenty of vegetarian options, which was a big plus. The only downside was a bit of an odd smell inside the restaurant (a dehumidifier would definitely help). We sat outside instead, which made for a much nicer experience. Overall, tasty food and worth a visit!
This place serves very delightful food fired pizza. The flavors were amazing, the crust was crispy and the cheese was stringy. Perfect combination. The atmosphere was very cozy with Italian instrumental played in the background. I'd recommend this place for good pizza.
Delicious, authentic tasting woodfired pizza. We came here on a Monday evening and admittedly it was very quiet as it is the slow season but otherwise it was lovely. The place has a cute and charming atmosphere, the food was delicious and came out super fast. We ordered 2 of the pizza's, both were really tasty, crisp woodfired bases and a generous amount of toppings. The guy working there was also really friendly. Highly recommend for an easy, tasty meal out.
Delicious and authentic Napoletana pizza! Ordered online for pickup, very easy process. My Mamma Rosa Favourite was fantastic, beautifully cooked and very tasty. The base had the right amount of chew and give, the sauce great and the toppings just right. Friendly service, good value - would recommend.
Love the place n food .. very authentic taste . Love the bruschetta and the pizza, the bread is so fresh n yummy and pesto is to die for! I love the food . Have been coming since 2 days in a row. A must in Rotorua!!! Love love it
I wish I could say anything different as the manager was friendly and the place looks like a cute authentic italian restaurant, but we had the Margherita pizza and this doesn't taste anything like what you can get in Italy (or an Italian restaurant). It tastes like standard American pizza. The crust, the cheese, the sauce, nothing tasted authentic. Also, the restaurant was empty and it took almost an hour to get our pizzas.
This was a hidden Vegan Gem. They can alter most of their Pizzas to make them vegan. The Pizza is excellent . Friendly and obliging we went several times for pizza and sat outside and enjoyed the warm evening.
