   Unfortunately, they had double booked me and said I would have my own room, bathroom and kitchen but it was in their home, didnt feel as though I had any privacy. Bed had copious amount of cat fur and dog fur on it and in it, only refunded half of my money thought this was very unfair considering they had double booked me in the first place and lied about the room I travel from Napier to receive. The husband was well aware of what he had said to me on the phone which was a lie, so he had asked his partner to tend to me?And she wasnt aware he had said I would have my own privacy while staying, She was lovely, and very understable.

   Such amazing hosts!! Showed me an awesome swimming hole nearby and let me set up my tent here while hiking Te Araroa. Loved watching their working dog herd cattle. Staying here was a great part of my TA experience!

   Amazing people that hosted me along Te Araroa. Absolutely a worthwhile stay to get away from the cities. The room has a lovely view of the surrounding hills that the sun hits early in the mornings
