The internet says you are open, however your phone line is saying you are closed. Which is it? Open or closed? Its all about the money for them, not the patient! Look at your poor reviews and learn something new, maybe how to treat people better. What a disappointment your bussiness is!
Wanted to book an appointment but the really rude receptionist made my day even worse. How can you talk to the patient who is sick in such manner. The doctors and other receptionist are lovely. I hope the management does something as this is not the first complaint against her.
Changed to this GP because was closer to home, but it no longer matters if I cant have an appointment when my kids are sick and needs to wait for the next week for an appointment?! is thursday, do we have to schedule sickness? what a joke. 9 months later of this review, there still aren't appointments available, every time my family get sick they offer to schedule " for next week" disappointing :/
Have only dealt with good doctors but the older woman at reception is TERRIBLY rude. There is one young very nice receptionist then one really nasty one who should not be in a customer facing role. I wouldve left the practice by now if it weren't for how much I do like my doctor. My negative experiences have been on multiple different occasions.
I’ve been with this centre for at least 15 years. But havent come as frequently in the last few years since Dr Mary Buckler no longer practiced here. But my recent experience convinced me that their service has declined. I booked for a consultation with Dr.An Lim, and was rushed to finish as soon as the 15min was up. She dismissed most of my concerns based on a preconception she had about my ethnicity and age. My request to get a general medical checkup was met with scepticism. She reluctantly wrote some referrals after my justification and charged me with referral fees, on top of the 15min consultation fee. Then came the result through the online portal. One blood test didnt turn out great. I was waiting for a follow up but didn't get any. When i called to follow up, the nurse said just to read up on some articles online on how to get better. Apparently i didnt get a phone call because there is no family history, an important note that the GP has missed to put on my record. I have lost confidence in this centre. But i’d give it 2 star because the other GPs are probably ok.
I used to love these doctors and have been a patient for around 15 years. Now days its all about your money and discriminating on patients. If you are going to put your patients in back rooms, or in their cars and not allow then to come into your clinic, like a lot of your *other* patients- at least charge lesser fee. I will not pay to be discriminated against. Today was the final straw for me. Don't put up with it people!
I became very sick and needed help. Katie answered at the reception and she was so kind. She booked me in with Dr Tan the very next day. Dr Tan is very helpful and efficient. They are an awesome team that made the experience easy. Thank you!
My kids and I are under the care of Dr Steven Tan, he’s really great with children in term of listening in every details and also follow up the results. It’s great that booking can be easily done online and also the prescriptions and blood test all sent to the pharmacy and lab test electronically. Recently I needed to have covid test and due to the increasing number of covid case and long queue at every testing station, I expected to be a long wait at the clinic. I booked for a test, drove in, got swabbed and drove out - all done within a minute…impressive.
The quality of care and customer service from Cornwall medical centre, is more than words can describe. I have been under the care of Dr Steven Tan for several years now, and he has exceeded my expectations. His kind friendly nature makes each appointment comfortable and easy. No matter what the situation is he always goes above and beyond, providing great care and conversation.
Highly recommend Cornwall Medical Centre. Appointments are always available, reception staff are welcoming and the quality of care is excellent. Our primary GP was Jacqui Tam and she was great! Friendly, very thorough and great with kids. We also dealt with a few other doctors at the practice and never had any issues.
