Amazing tattoo done by Shank at Jolly Octopus. Shank has designed my brother's memorial tattoo and it is perfect! She was very kind, friendly, talkative and created a warm welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more tattoos!
Steve did a really simple tattoo for me as it was my first and it was very meaningful to me. I told him the colours i wanted for shading and he didn’t even get it right and the lines are thick and then thin all over and he nicked a line that wasn’t even supposed to be there. Also extremely over priced for such a small tattoo with only one small bit of shading. $300 when I could’ve had it done for $100.
Amazing service, staff were very thorough and patient while I was being fussy with the placement of my piercing. Happy with final result and prices are very reasonable.
Steve has done 4 tattoos for me over the past 14 years and his ability never seizes to surprise me. I love his sense of humour and calming nature. Really friendly and inviting staff, chatty and fun while I waited, and very inclusive. I was made to feel really safe and calm for my first tattoos, and they came out exactly as I wanted. They also gave good aftercare instructions. Very happy!
Its been quite a while since I was tattooed last, but now I am continuing my addiction. The Jolly Octopus is full of talented and friendly staff who are helpful with creating designs and ideas. Steve has exceeded my expectations on several occasions now, the first time with Chucky, which confirmed I had chosen the right tattoo artist and studio to continue with my other ideas. The second was with a Grim Reaper cover up, and now that its finished, one wouldn’t realise that it is a cover up. Steve has great aptitude for detail and colour matching, and I highly recommend him and his staff at The Jolly Octopus if you are looking for flair as I have since returned for several more.
