I really like this shop, great selection and service. My only concern is how much of the produce is in plastic or wrapped in plastic.

Would be great if you had samples of the fruit available to try before buying. Just brought some nectarines which were very bland. At $10 per kg this can be a waste of money. Would have returned but no worth the travel. Please take on board my suggestion as I would have been bummed out if I brought lots. Thank you.
The lack of bags makes it impossible to carry quantity of produce. How do they weigh at the counter 2kg of potatoes? Staff member, mentioned that it is too costly to provide bags. Cost of living affects all, but this is poor customer service in my opinion.
Total 100% BAD experience. Signs saying don't strip leaf's off product or you will be charged but next to the sign is a rubbish bin. Impossible to buy multiple amounts of anything because they provide no bags so how do you carry anything. When asked staff if it was possible to get a few bags abrupt rude response. Witnessed 3 other people walk out and all went to the new world. I spent $97 on fruit and vegetables, their loss. If you want more than one item Don't go there.
My Greengrocer in Tauranga has been such a blessing for me and my family. They choose the best products, great size and quality for a fair price. I am impressed with their service in all areas. This is the best store for top quality produce and competitive prices. No way would I buy produce from a supermarket. Staff are friendly, shop is clean and always well stocked. Check it out you won't be disappointed.
