Thom is such a great producer and engineer. Really easy-going, great depth of musical knowledge, excellent ears. I won't record with anyone else in New Zealand now. Really proud of the tracks we did here, the price was worth every single penny. They have a great studio here, lots of new and vintage gear on hand, and the studio itself sounds (and looks) great.
Recorded 3 songs here with my band. Super helpful, friendly people and very accommodating of all our requests!
Last night and the night before the Orange Studios was fitted out as a small auditorium of 40+ seats, something that it is well suited to. The, event, cozy comedy played to a packed house with extra seating brought in for latecomers. Sound, lighting and heating were excellent. As usual there was a small queue at the ladies but that was dealt with within a short time. There is a bar and mingling area for breaks. The only problem is it is not well marked on Google maps. There is plenty of scope to make this a great venue on the way to Sumner.
Great performance by Mehana band from Wellington
Went to d&d and comedians. Great show and a great night out with friends. Highly recommended even if d&d isn't your thing.
