   Ear health is appalling service, l have a lifelong hearing problem. I use olive oil to soften wax, but they never suction the oil and wax out. Last time the person was so lazy l had to try and clear it out my self and ended up blocking my hearing once again. I have also had bouts of ear pain and neuralgia ongoing since the last appt.and GP can’t find why the pain gets so bad. As for my first visit, l needed to go back again, sucked out one stuck piece of wax, total time in room 2 minutes and l had to pay again. Never had this happened before anywhere.

   We were disappointed by our experience regarding the ear wax removal service. After our initial appointment, we scheduled a follow-up, but were informed on the day that we had missed it and would need to pay and rebook. Although the procedure was eventually carried out, we were charged twice for the second visit. We kindly requested that the staff review CCTV footage to verify our appointment details, but this was declined. While the service was ultimately completed, the lack of flexibility and refusal to investigate our concern was frustrating. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not feel comfortable recommending this clinic.

   I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the ear wax removal service I recently received at your clinic. The level of service was absolutely unacceptable. It was clear that minimal effort was put into the procedure, and as someone who has this done regularly, I can confidently say that this was the worst experience I’ve had to date. Never before have I left an appointment with the issue still unresolved. The procedure was rushed and incomplete, leaving me extremely disappointed and frustrated. I request that you contact me directly to discuss this matter further. I expect a resolution and assurance that this level of service will not be repeated.

   The receptionist, Catherine, is displaying unprofessional and irresponsible behavior. During our third follow-up treatment visit, we were informed that the appointment had been scheduled for Wednesday, which was a day prior to being marked as a "no show." Our consistent practice has been to schedule appointments 7 days apart. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, a Wednesday appointment was not feasible for me. It appears that there might have been an accidental error made by the receptionist when inputting the appointment, mistaking Wednesday for Thursday as requested. I urged them to review the camera recording, as both my son and I distinctly remember Thursday being mentioned during the appointment booking. However, rather than addressing the issue, Catherine shifted the blame onto me, asserting that I failed to check the email reminder. This situation has led to the appointment being charged, even though it was supposed to be a no-charge follow-up treatment after two paid sessions. Despite this situation, I am confident that there are other clinics in Christchurch that can provide the same services with more reasonable staff. This whole experience is incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

   What an awesome experience at your earwax clinic! I brought my daughter in as her ears were feeling full and blocked. The lovely nurse really took the time to explain and make sure my daughter felt at ease. The whole process was so quick and easy and my daughters ears are so much better. Thank you!

   I got my ears cleaned there recently. They were efficient and I'm very happy with the service provided. I would most certainly do it again if there's another large build up of wax lodged inside my ears!
