   I recently bought a PlayStation 5 from this store. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the staff members (Kyle) was very disappointing. When I asked some questions about the console, his responses were rude and dismissive. He said things like “don’t waste my time,” “it doesn’t look like you’re going to buy anything,” and told me to “do your own research,” which is completely unacceptable behaviour from a salesperson at a well-known company like Noel Leeming. I also felt uncomfortable with the way I was treated, as the tone and manner came across as discriminatory. This was not about the explanation itself, but about the attitude and the way a customer was spoken to. Later on, another staff member, Bayley, helped me and explained everything about the console very clearly. She was polite, patient, and genuinely helpful, which I really appreciated. Her attitude showed what good customer service should look like. I raised this issue with the manager, Lydia, who said she would follow up on the matter. While I appreciate her response, the initial interaction left a very poor impression.

   Brought my new iPhone 18 days ago and the prices dropped recently. Trying to talk to them to claim the price difference but I didn’t purchased the product protection so I m ineligible to get the price difference back.(within 14days) .Was wondering to get the product protection in store so I can claim the price difference, but the manager refused directly. After that I googled online and chatted with both the online service team and hotline. Online staff said you can get the product within 30days(different than the store manager perspective).The phone representative cannot provide any suggestions just pointed I can seeking help from the store(ps background staffs chatting and laughing sound even louder than the lady’s voice). First time try to know the customer service from Noel Leeming obviously wasn’t impressed. Additionally, unable to get the call to Riccarton shop within a few hours until I popped into the shop said there’s only one staff sitting on desk today.

   I recently visited the Riccarton store regarding a laptop I purchased from the Napier branch about 10–20 days ago. The laptop is extremely slow, so I wanted to return or exchange it. However, the manager at the Riccarton store — I believe his name is Ash — told me that he would not accept the return for any reason. He was also not friendly or polite during the conversation. After that, I contacted the Napier store directly. They were very friendly and polite, and they told me they would look into it. From their end, they even contacted the Riccarton store and informed them about my issue. The Riccarton store then told me that I could return the laptop I was wait more than 3 hours for complete this

   Awesome service by the staff named Navtej. I came in asking for a phone case for my iphone 17 pro and first thing I was told was to go to your competitors (Mobile Planet or JB Hifi) as you guys are all sold out, although I could clearly see the cases on display. Also, he told us he was going to close the store in 2 minutes so basically asked me to get out even though I was waiting for over 5 minutes to get served while your staff didnt even make eye contact and was speaking to another staff near the counter in Punjabi very loudly. I dont know what kind of environment your workplace cultivates, especially at the Riccarton branch but being a store manager myself, I would think twice about employing such staff. I was polite and left and actually found the same Otterbox React case at your competitor for $5 less. So, thank you Nav for opening my eyes to never shop at Noel Leeming again!

   I would like to say a big thank you to Aditi for her wonderful customer service. I had to visit the store three days in a row because my online order was delivered in separate parts. Each time, Aditi served me kindly and patiently. When I came back to ask about replacing one of the items that looked repacked, she handled the situation very professionally. She checked with other staff and helped me resolve the issue quickly. Thank you again for the great service — I really appreciate Aditi’s help, and I will definitely come back to shop again.

   Tried to contact the store via the 0800 number - the person said that no one was answering at your store as it was 5pm and they would be too busy to answer. She told me to call again tomorrow. When I said that would not suit and I needed to talk to someone about this - she hung up on me!

   Pro: Good selection of items. Con: Had one salesman that wasn't very helpful as I asked about a military discount, he replied bluntly "no discount". I left the store and came back 30mins later and asked a different salesman about the discount for the same item...Guess what? He said there is one and applied it to our purchase. The last guy didn't even try.

   I returned an item to the store, the refund did not work. Customer service asks me to contact directly the store. The store staff have not answered me for 3 months. I notified that I was only passing through New Zealand. maybe that's why they don't answer me. I call that stealing. I loose 80 dollars.

   Hi I need to reply to this one as I had visited them when I am it town and look through there store to see what they had on show as I have a loot of toys that I would like to add to my ones. Also I had a problem with a power surge that killed my two TVs. So I had to go to my insurance supplier who put me through Noel Leeming to get one replacement and that was very good as it was over three weeks after the avent which means no TV since then, not good. Cheers
