Such a great atmosphere! Drinks, food and lots of pool tables. Service is outstanding, the cocktails are fantastic. Good music as well!
Went there for dinner and breakfast Dinner was really good Beef curry was delicious and tender Ribs was awesome and value for money Beer, Gin and Wine great Breakfast was delicious and yummy Price was awesome Nice decorations restaurant Staffs are great Service are fast and fabulous
Booked to come in for tea through 1st table. Meals were yummy and affordable they just took 45mins to come out. Nice slushy margaritas too.
The food is excellent value and with excellent service from the friendly service staff, I would definitely recommend Rockpool Bar and Grill to everyone. The Pad Thai my partner, said was beautiful, while I had the Rockpool steak, which I quiet enjoyed. We also shared the Garlic Loaf and thoroughly loved that with the herb vinaigrette! The venue itself has quiet a few pool tables at the rear, with a few TV's placed around playing sports of the day, a number of seating options and quiet a large bar down the left side. A very good selection on Menu, to suit all tastes!
Best place in New Zealand for Australians to eat and drink. Great friendly staff, owners are friendly and very helpful. $25 parmi or ribs with a beer, wine, spirit or soft drink! We ate here every night and even went for the $12 bacon and eggs with free coffee one morning. Could not recommend enough! Large servings and unbelievable quality!!

A great pub. Good beer, tasty food, and fantastic service. We had the lamb shank and filled steak. Both were great. To top it off we played pool and drank Margareta from a tea pot. We will be going back.
I’ve been eating here every time I’m at Christchurch. They got good specials everyday. The one I’m always getting tho is this beautiful lamb. Tastes as good as it looks.
Blackboard menu $20 Hineken and ribs and chips and salad. Nowadays everything very expensive but this menu is great cost performance. And good things was teast good too. Late night you need to wait long out side with que.
Yummy steak, good service and large servings. There are pool tables too to play after meal. Their alcoholic drink selection is a must try as well. Great place
