   So rude! We were told no jugs for 30 minutes in a very rude and unwelcoming way, we waited 30 minutes and returned to be told no jugs at all, then asked if there are cocktails and were told “no cocktails while we are busy” which was silly because there was two people waiting to order a drink, and the bar itself didn’t even have all its seats filled. Honestly, just a rude experience when there was absolutely no need for the treatment we received. Where is the customer service?? As someone who has worked years in hospitality this was so unnecessary, people politely coming to order and being told “no” to every request without even a kind “no sorry we aren’t serving that anymore.” This is clearly a show of ageism, if not plain rudeness, with uni students being treated poorly for no reason whatsoever.

   Disappointing. In all my experiences with the female manager she has never been hospitable. Great to see the coffee/matcha is popular but being the only prominent bar on campus shouldn’t need to wait ages just to get a tap beer as a result, there are already plenty of other cafes on campus.

   alright food for what you can around uni, cool area, but the service was pretty foul, the waitress didn't ask if I wanted it take it our or dine in, so my foods ready and I request to get it take away and I notice how she rolls her eyes at me, she goes to the kitchen and comes back and starts whispering to her colleague and I hear the guy she was talking to say "Just say the take away boxes are 50 cents" and she comes up-to me says that, I said its fine ill pay 50 cents and she rolls her eyes again and goes to the kitchen. I think this behaviour is quite absurd and it is poor costumer service, how hard can it be to just switch it into a take away box.

   The Foundry is very average and benefits a lot from there being no other bars in the area. I've been many time and the food is meh. The staff are always lovely and kind though. I ordered the vegan burger and I will say it looks great but it didn't have much flavour. The fish and chips was ok but the fish wasn't big enough especially considering it looks frozen! This place would benefit from a more extensive menu, and cheaper meals, after all it's meant for students but I certainly couldn't afford to come here often (as a student). The meals are around $15 each with a student discount.

   Visited on Thursday party night. It was a mono night. Really enjoyed the DG and atmosphere. Loved this pub.. ! The beer and wine selection is great and the staff are really friendly and helpful. This place is mostly for Canterbury University students. Nice location. New building is look great and specious.
