Shanghai Street Dumplings runs with a burger‑led menu and an easy pace. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Sushi and hot dishes come out clean‑flavoured and precise. Fries and sides round things out neatly. Serve sizes show solid value.
We had dinner with no idea what it would be like. Absolutely delicious. If I lived in ChCh it would be my ‘go to’. We ate in but they also do takeaway. I’m surprised it was so quiet. One of the best meals I’ve had of this type.

I ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings and the stir fried chicken with wide rice noodles. I enjoyed both of them.
Selection of fancy dim sum, noodle and rice dishes along with meat and veg dishes for sharing. So-so for me, and also on the expensive side. Decor is lovely and location is convenient with parking in the Bush Inn shopping centre.
We tried this restaurant for the first time on Tuesday night, food was well priced and tasty. We opted to take our leftovers away with us. We are some for lunch the following day. We just went to heat up the last of it and found this fried fly inside... You can clearly tell it was cooked with the food. The containers were sealed when leaving the restaurant and put straight into the fridge, this dish was not touched until today. My daughter was not happy about finding this in her lunch. These things happen but will not be going back.
My friend from Shanghai recommended this restaurant to me. He said the food is authentic like Shengjian Bun,Spring Onion Oil Noodle, and Spring Roll. The food is good. I also like the decoration here. Service is not bad. Location is good. I could go to Chinese Market after lunch.
Strongly recommend this restaurant, they even opened at the New Year’s day, everything was yummy! Service was good too!
