   Took my bird to get wings a f claws done! 1 claw was cut to short. Clotting power was used. The ver was called in and pain relief was given. Gave them a call a week later as my bird isn't wait Bering on her leg. After reassing the bird. They refuse to admit the fault was theirs. And refuse to cimpisate and then proceed to charge me for pain relief etc With my other bird I had to hold him.while they attempted to do wings and claws. Causing him a lot of stress and me a few holes in my hand. Don't take your birds here

We're down to our last Cat now who is 14 and the team were really helpful and caring throughout our Charlee's Ear Surgery and recovery keeping a close eye on her due to her age. Thank you all.

   Took our elderly cat in and we had to unfortunately put him to sleep. Carevets were amazing. So compassionate and caring of our situation. Informed us of each step of the euthanasia process. Wasn't to expensive given it was on a Sunday.

   I had the absolute best experience at Carevets Rototuna today with Dr Amanda Briston, I have an extremely nervous/anxious rescue dog and Amanda handled him with such care, patience and respect. She set my dog, as well as me at ease and made it a very positive experience. My dog that usually takes a fair bit of time to let new people near, even gave her lots of tail wags and let her pat him! Thankyou so much for taking your time with my boy and helping him to relax so it seemed less frightening. Absolutely outstanding :)

   Carevets Rototuna were amazing in their care for my dog right from his terminal cancer diagnosis through to his final day. They were professional whilst also being caring and compassionate. They made a very difficult time that much easier to bear and their work was greatly appreciated. You would not get better service.

   I tried 10 other places and then saw a review for CareVets Rototuna stating they called in the a.m. and got a booking in the afternoon, so, I called in the afternoon at 3:17p.m. and got an appointment for my parent's dog for 4p.m. on the same day. Kyla who answered the phone was great to talk to. We had Veterinarian Lucy who was informative, and provided great guidance on treatment pathway and management. Tama helped progress payment of treatment products and when I came back to get another treatment product the vet recommended that may be worth doing again, Kyla was available to progress it so there was no delay to look for staff as staff were available at the service desk to progress payments. Dental checks are free through the Nursing staff and eventhough we didn't have the dog booked for it, the vet checked his teeth and there wasn't an additional fee on top of consultation. Great price for consultation. Highly recommend as a vet for people to go to, it was worth the visit from out of town.

   Avoid. I made an appointment for two specific treatments for my cat. They have all the details on the computer in front of them when I made the booking. I turn up two weeks later and was told I was too early for one treatment and I needed to come back. Why didn't they tell me when I made the booking? Their response: "reception can't be expected to know everyone's pet plan". A 45min round trip for nothing. I won't be back.
