   As a long time friend of River Oaks and having built part of it i might be biased. However..... River oaks is possibly situated in the most beautiful place in the world. With the beautiful farmland nestled in a picturesque valley it is truly heaven on earth. And then there is the river.... there is somthing truly magical about it.. like a fairytail but perfect. Every rock is comfortable to lay on in the sun. There are splishy splashy rapids over the rocks that form natural spa pools. And the river, in my opinion, allegedly,. It has magical healing powers. If you can pluck up the courage to jump in.

   Bit gutted to arrive this evening at 5:35pm and sit on the bench by the dog wash for 10 minutes while another lady finished washing her doggy. Went up to the counter with two possyum rolls to have something to do while the lady finished washing only to be told at 5:43pm that “oh the dog wash is closed, we close in like 5 minutes”. The store hours are till 6pm and my two girls share a wash so only needed a 10 minute go over in total, we would have been done and dusted by 5 to 6, besides the fact that I would have liked to have been told that while I was waiting by the dog wash for 10 minutes that it was closed, especially by the staff member that walked passed us twice to do something to the dog wash machine. Seems as though staff just wanted to pack up and go home rather than help customers.

   As we live very close to Anzac Parade store, so we often need to go there to get some dog food or DIY dog wash. Feel much pressured each time when we take our dog for DIY dog wash, always waiting around for staff! one of their senior staff always looks unhappy(grumpy face) to help and make us feel like we are not welcomed and had owned her something! Very rude and arrogant attitude! Each time when we have to go there for dog wash or something we hope she wasn’t there! The Te Rapa store is much better in terms of customer service!
