   We have been coming to Estuary Vets with out pets for over 20+ years, having started as patients when Griff Lash was the primary vet. We were drawn to his compassionate and pet central approach and how much genuine care he had for our loved ones. When he retired we were apprehensive that whoever took over may not have the same level of compassion that he had as we have found this is quite unique in what has become a very transactional world. However having met Tom, Thea and the rest of the "new" (not so new now) team at Estuary Vets we were delighted that they brought with them the same level of care, affection and understanding for animals that we had come to love from Griff. Today we sadly had to put our old boy Max to rest and I can honestly say it was the most respectful, gentle and dignified end to a wonderful little life and I am truly grateful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love you give our pets, it makes the world of difference to us and them.

   I bought the Bravecto PLUS flea treatment for my cat today- I had to pay 90 dollars for the product - when I checked afterwards, I found out that the identical product is usually between 45 and 56 dollars at other places. I just wanted to let people know that this vet might be very expensive and charges too much.

   This is hands down the best vet in Christchurch! Thea (my vet) is a very understanding vet, who knows how to handle dogs in a stress free manor. She always has the most care and compassion, and I feel extremely lucky to have found her! I would recommend her 100%. I would never go anywhere else personally. She really does understand my dogs personality and works with her to achieve the best results!
