Had such a beautiful experience here today with my 4 year old son and best friend. It’s a perfect place for family friendly fun. The hosts and I presume owners are very helpful with information about safety and the animals, they were very kind and funny. Despite the cafe being closed they so kindly gave us local options for lunch and I noticed how the animals are so well taken care of. There is a trampoline, colouring and activities for young kids to. We had such a lovely morning outing here! Thank you, can’t recommend enough.

service is rather ordinary, while the animals are very cute, and the foods and drinks are fine, a place that we would come again for sure if giving a better weather....

It is with a heavy heart that we learned of Cornerstone Alpaca Stud’s upcoming closure next month. From Singapore, we extend our deepest gratitude for the unforgettable experience and warm hospitality we received during our visit. The story of how Dave and Sonja transformed a simple piece of land into a haven for alpacas & llamas, guided by their faith and the Almighty’s vision, is truly inspiring and a testament to their dedication. Our time at Cornerstone was nothing short of magical. Interacting with the friendly, and occasionally shy, alpacas and llamas was a joy that warmed our hearts especially the little one. A special shout-out to Sam and (I believe) Guntherβ€”please forgive me if I’ve gotten the name wrongβ€”Their enthusiasm for educating us of these friendly alpacas made our visit truly memorable. The Cornerstone Kitchen was not open but thanks for the lovely recommendation to try Woodlands Estate which is a few minutes away. We also loved browsing the Alpaca Shop, where the hand-felted scarves and other alpaca products showcased the care and artistry behind this unique farm. Thank you, Cornerstone Alpaca Stud, for creating such a beautiful space and sharing it with the world. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who visited. We wish Dave, Sonja, and the entire team all the best in their future endeavors. Hope the beautiful alpacas, llamas are in good hands. Please visit Cornerstone if you want to be a shepherd to the friendly alpacas.

The gentleman at the counter was very kind and friendly. He welcomed us warmly and explained everything about our safety and the animals before we went to see the animals. It is a very peaceful place located in a beautiful environment with all the facilities. All the animals we met were very cute and friendly. It is worth a visit.

One of the best places I visited during my NZ trip! For just $19 per person, we had the chance to feed some adorable llamas and alpacas of all different sizes, ages, colours, and shapes. Each of us received a bag of food, and the animals happily licked it from our handsβ€”it was such a fun and memorable agricultural and animal experience. Just a heads-up: they can sometimes spit on you and there’s quite a bit of poo in the paddock, so watch your step! Your clothes and shoes might get a bit messy, but thankfully there’s a cleaning station nearby. Definitely worth a visit for animal lovers!

What a day! We brought a group through today and were warmly welcomed to the venue, and introduced to our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. We all commented about how much she taught us about alpacas. Feeding the animals was fun. Browsing the shop was fabulous. Thoroughly recommend this activity!

We bought tickets to walk an alpaca. They were really cute and we had a wonderful time walking them and feeding them. We learnt more about alpaca at the presentation before the walk.

I can’t recommend this experience enough! My friend and I showed up to do a feeding tour but were pleasantly surprised to find a guided feeding tour available. Our guide really seemed to enjoy teaching us all about the lovely animals on the farm but also allowed us some really lovely quiet moments just enjoying the alpacas’ company. Everyone we interacted with seemed to enjoy their work and it made for a very pleasant environment and experience. The cafe food looked great as well and there was a lovely outdoor patio for dining.

Cornerstone Alpacas is an amazing place to spend with friends and family. The manager is a top bloke, friendly, approachable and is happy to share information and answer any questions. They have plenty to offer in a way of coffee, lunch and an amazing dinner menu. Stop in and say hello to the friendly workers there, if you're looking for something fun to do. Lots of parking and even an area for kids to play
