   We ordered an 1800mm bamboo StandDesk in 2021 and it has been as advertised: easy to assemble, solid, stable, comfortable and smooth in operation. We had a minor hiccup recently with a failed desk control panel. A quick email and a phone call with StandDesk correctly identified the most likely solution and a replacement unit was quickly dispatched under warranty, that I then fitted. Sometimes with electronics things fail. A sign of a good company, with a good product, is how they respond to the odd setback and the level of customer service given. I recommend this product.

   Ordered two desks on back order in April on the basis they would be available in May, did not actually receive the desks until July. Communication was poor, kept having to chase up to find out what was going on, felt like I was getting the run around with claims of desks being brought over from Australia one week but the next week they are still in a container coming from Asia or somewhere. Anyway, my advice would be not to buy anything that isn't currently in stock in NZ unless you are prepared for a long wait. The desks themselves when they finally turned up are made of decent quality materials and relatively straightforward to assemble, however the model we received had a design or manufacturing fault - the channel where the power cable was supposed to go could not be used because part of the base completely blocked it. We were able to re-route the power cable using the channel where the built in wireless phone charger was supposed to go because we had not purchased that option, I don't know what we would have done if we had. Not really what I expect from a product at this price point. When I raised it with customer support their response was "oh I thought we'd sold all those ones" which is pretty poor. All in all I would not recommend this company based on the quality of the product and the customer service.

   When our desk arrived I had fun assembling it. The parts (and packaging) and everything is nicely and thoughtfully designed. Drives are smooth, solid and a have a big range. We filed a wrong order and they were very helpful and quickly with sorting it out.

   Outstanding desk and customer service. The raising and lowering if very smooth. I got the larger size (on accident) and really like it. The cable organizer seems like a minor feature but it is a game changer. It is solid and heavy which is great for stability but hard to move; I'd consider this a feature more than a drawback.

   I wouldn't be happier with the desk or the service. They guys have been very communicative and where I had a question about delivery I managed to get hold of Conrad when I needed to. The desk itself is top notch, solid and stylish. I love the way the cables are so organised beneath the desk, and the wireless charging pad rocks. The motors to move the desk up and down are super quiet. Thanks very much guys.
